    Not having a pairwise will be a death blow for a school like Denver. Depending on how much the NC$$ cares about putting together a decent selection committee. In years past strength of schedule could save an NCHC team that played a difficult schedule but were saved by SOS and got in. Even if they right the ship and get to 12 -14 wins they'll have at least 10 losses likely which in the past may have been okay but not this year.

    Very proud of Peter Thome for a social media post he made yesterday on the #BellLetsTalk day. It takes a lot of courage to just have the strength to tell someone that you are having issues, let alone air them out for thousands of people to see. If his post encourages even one person to sit down and discuss mental health issues they are having its done its purpose and then some. At the same time, I hope the University of North Dakota understands how lucky they are to have a fantastic human being like Mark Poolman in the athletics program.

    Yeah, the only reason they schedule ND schools is a filler very very rarely. Lose lose situation for them IMHO. Don't schedule them and you've got the "holier than thou" from people on the west side of the river. Then you do schedule them, and if you lose......ufff.......

    According to the Bob Gillen site Central put up 94 shots on goal in Devils Lake. While giving up 11. Thats an unreal statistic.

    There are a lot of great team players on this site like @SiouxFanatic that post links to broadcasts and you can watch away on the computer or phone. But if they don't, Tim preaching the game to you via radio or iheart is a pretty good worst option to have. What I wouldn't give to have him and O'Keefe back together for a weekend of games.

    Not a chance anyone not named UND-SCSU-Duluth finishes in the top three. Based on what SCSU and Duluth have left on the schedule I'd be shocked if those two finished outside of the top three. Just not likely in my opinion. My way too early NCHC finish: 1. UND (Raging homer pick.....likely SCSU if I take the green glasses off) 2. SCSU 3. Duluth 4. Omaha 5. Denver 6. Western 7. CC 8. Miami

    With the way college hockey is this season with limited fans, it makes sense for the NCAA to host the postseason in a bubble in one location, or to have the top four seeds host the regionals at their schools. With no fans being allowed to attend the NCAA tournament certain coaches that don't want on campus regionals will have their biggest complaint nullified. Hopefully the NCAA thinks about this sooner than later because we are about to crack open February, which means there better be a plan by March.

    9 NFC title game appearances in those 28 years. 3-6 in those games. 2-1 in the Bowl. They'll forever kick themselves for the Seattle game, Giants at home, and yesterday likely. I was looking forward to Mahomes vs. A-Rog. Now I've got to hear about Tom Brady for two more weeks.
