  1. Another "zero reason to throw the ball" game for them. QB was like 6/11? 50 yards passing? Ran for 400 plus yards.
  2. Great....Belquist hurt......
  3. Agreed with all. Quincy time. And somebody take Otis' helmet.
  4. Why wouldn't we miss an XP.
  5. BOOOOOOOM!!!! Our defense/ST this half 13 Our offense 0 Them 0
  6. If you can't stop the run, NDSU will destroy you.
  7. @siouxfan512 with the bold and correct thought that their starting QB doesn't finish the game.
  8. 31-3. Imagine if our defense was as good as theirs.
  9. 24-3. Our ball out of the half. Draw up a drive and let's make it 31-3.
  10. I figured they had the green glasses on.
  11. Radio guys hated that call.
  12. Pretty good 7 minutes for Tommy.
  13. NDSU down 14-7 now....
  14. NDSU down 14-0.
  15. Rocco must have heard hell after Oakland. No Colome and straight matchups with his best relievers after Happ gave up the hit.
  16. Was talking to some parents of both Minot and Williston kids about this and I found a common theme of "this could really water down high school hockey in Bismarck." I have no idea which Legacy kids play at BHS or Century, so I'm not going to dive into who it will hurt more (I would assume BHS, leave it there). Positives and negatives. More kids get to play high school hockey. I'll always champion more kids in activities. Get away from the screens . At the same time I think it could cause a bit of an exodus of the kids from the Bismarck programs. I mean, will Central and Red River continue to schedule BHS, Century, and or Legacy every year if those games are going to be 10-1? Minot has seen a few kids leave after their Bantam AA year. Common theme to be playing only 20 games or so at the high school level, and the quality of competition in the West Region not being what they'll see in Juniors or Midget operations. Friend of mine has a kid who played 60 games at Tier 1 this year vs. what would have been a 22 game high school schedule. Rambling aside, if you are a kid with aspirations of playing a higher level, and these non high school options come a calling, are you willing to stick it out playing for a lesser version of whatever school you go to in Bismarck?
  17. Well there you go. Thanks for the info.
  18. I guess if the NCAA is allowing for the scholarship dollars to come from outside sources then every kid on that team could have a full ride. I would imagine that would be a slippery slope though with the women's programs and other male sports programs looking over their shoulder.
  19. FYP
  20. Okay (brushes the dirt off of miserable road trip)...... Hearing that NIck Gordon and Kiriloff are coming up to the big club. Love the moves. May be the time to trade Cave. Left handed hitting guy who can play all the outfield positions should draw some attention. Not sure why they didn't trade him before when teams asked. I also think its a great time to shop Kepler a bit. Doesn't do anything for the club other than strike out and play shoddy defense in right. I think they should try and get a suitor before its too late and he isn't hitting his weight and is on a big contract. As the post above said, end the Colome experiment at closer. I can't handle closers that work that slow and are terrible at throwing strikes or hitting batters.
  21. I don't follow GPL on Twitter, but somebody liked a post of theirs and it came up that they had 10 d men on the roster last season? Right now they've got 8, and they are still looking to add on the blue line they say? My question becomes how thin the scholarship dollars get stretched? You've got your all American Goalie coming back (for sure scholarship), and a few good young kids like Lucius that are for sure on full rides. The NCAA to my knowledge did not allow for adding scholarship dollars even with retaining super seniors. Are there that many kids at Minnesota on partials? I mean 28 kids rostered seems like a lot. In retrospect UND was at 26 this past season, so not a huge difference, but two more mouths to feed for Minnesota.
  22. Give it to Otis and let him pound on these guys all day. UND 31 MO 21
