SCSU and Duluth both lose. I have no idea how SCSU loses to Miami. -

Having Bast back is a big deal. Moore has been a pleasant surprise on the back end, but you could put him as the extra skater tonight. Not sure about other possible injuries, but I think we are just about at full strength for this series. Lets come out with some fire period 1 and put three in on Chrona(virus). Not sure why they started the other guy on Saturday against Omaha, but he wasn't sharp whatsoever, and cost them two points. STAY THE BLEEEEP OUT OF THE BOX. And another thing. STAY THE BLEEP OUT OF THE BOX. -
I think this is pretty close. If you did a statewide league at both the A and AA then you are ensuring that the best teams are at the state tournament in both leagues instead of region tournaments happening and the annual 1E vs. 4W beat down. You could also see a possible GFC-Red River or Fargo Davies-Fargo South, Bismarck High-Century quarterfinal matchups that would add some fire to the opening round of the tournament. With an A league you could see schools like Shanley, Park River, or a Rugby possibly try to give it a go independently. That being said I have zero knowledge of the current numbers the aforementioned have in their program, and if its even feasible for them. If having an A league meant adding high school teams all over the state and Wahpeton coming back its a win win in my book. I look at a school like Red Lake Falls in Minnesota. Used to coach against them every year. They'd have 16 skaters and 2 goalies in their entire high school program and always found a way to play both jv and varsity schedules.

Got to make that 0-16, they forfeited their game at Williston, another likely loss. I checked their bantam team and they are getting waxed in the Bantam B1 ranks. Thats basically the third tier of Bantam hockey in ND right now, outscored 16-44 according to the NDAHA website. Got a decent number of Bantam kids for a small program but the high school team will have a bleak outlook the next several years. I too credit the people there for keeping the program going. 0 for the season in any sport has to be difficult. You would think having an A and AA in ND high school hockey would help them possibly get more kids out. At the same time, knowing what I know about the NDHSAA they could care less if it doesn't involve their precious basketball or football.

You know you're playing a team too much when its a supposed rivalry series and the thread isn't more than a page long. If it wasn't for Denver not having any fans, what would there be to talk about? -
Now Fargo North has to forfeit their last two games due to Covid. Hope they get to compete in the region tournament.

Anybody know the second tiebreaker in ND high school hockey? I'm told that HB forfeited their second game to Williston, so if Williston beats Dickinson and Bismarck High loses to the Jays from Jamestown they'll both be at 28 points, and head to head they both won in OT when they played. Minot and Century will also finish tied, and they split the regular season. Kind of a big deal this year as Tuesday is the start of the region tournament, and teams in the West are traveling to the higher seed for the first two rounds.

So are that lady's/guy's articles likely read by more UND fans in the long run or the three Denver fans? -
And there is the other issue! You try to keep the future in mind, but how many kids are going to quit if you're throwing them out there against the best 12 year olds in a town of 120,000 plus and getting killed? We always said think of the long term impact, but like @Frozen4sioux said, money talks, gotta keep kids in the program to have a program in the long run.
