The kid has got a bomb from the point. You can tell that Palmo and Oliver give him free range to unload because he took some shots from not the most opportune areas on the powerplay, and just missed on a few in other spots.

I'd be a fan of regionals and super regionals for college hockey. They fly baseball teams all over the country for two sets of regionals, no reason they couldn't do it for hockey. Best of three regional round, best of three super regional round all at higher seed home venue, reseed after the regional round. Keep the frozen four the same.

I agree with what another person said. They should of had a team in covid quarantine on standby like they did in the NCAA basketball tournament. No reason a Providence or Lowell couldn't have gotten to the East Regional in a day. You could of even had an east replacement team and a west replacement team for just in case. The puck isn't orange and doesn't bounce high enough for the NCAA to care.

I remember this being brought up after it happened. From that angle you can't 100 percent reverse a call made on the ice that it was offsides. I mean a camera 200 feet away through a net? UND would have got another shot at that really good Duluth team. What could have been....

That's my initial thought. You signed up for football, this is when the season is going to be played and other teams are going through the same thing that you are. Leaves a black eye that you quit when the gettin wasn't good. Of course Spack will say its for the benefit of his student athletes to be healthy for the fall, but honestly if they were undefeated we aren't having this conversation.
