Boy I hope so. Getting Mr. Driscoll was huge, and I believe he is a better option next season than Thome (hides behind wall). Going forward though after Driscoll leaves.....you've got Kaleb Johnson, and Feeney for 2022-2023. I see a couple of NTDP goalies are uncommitted, but I never hold my breath on those guys coming here. Kaleb needs another year of junior hockey (hopefully USHL), and the same for Hedquist in Dubuque. Wonder what the deal with Kraws is for Miami? I thought he'd be picked up quickly by someone based on the eye test from when we played them, and he has some international experience playing for Team USA. Persson was sensational for them and deserved all the awards he got, but getting hung out to dry a lot would be a good indicator of why Kraws didn't have very good numbers.

Based on the passing yards the Bears have allowed, or the 270 rushing yards allowed at home vs. NDSU, I'd say our defense is right up there with them. I think Tommy can have a huge game against these guys. I wasn't overly impressed with Camp from USD, and he put up almost 340 yards passing against them.

No runs scored in 14 innings. Overshifting cost them the only run in game 2.....but at least it looks like everyone is having fun. I used to be a big time Astudillo fan, but now he makes me miss Adrianza..... I wondered out loud if Rocco would get fired for a crappy season, but then remembered Gardy was allowed to have four 90+ loss seasons (with a new stadium) before he was tossed.

Well we all know they'll be set up in different regionals so the possibility will exist.

Some of my favorite players in the past were Canucks. You had Scotty Schultz, Donovan Alexander, The Manitoba Moose, Bamba. Although Bamba didn't last a very long time.

Lindenwood playing Minot State at ACHA nationals. Rick Zombo coaches Lindenwood. Both teams would make great additions to D1. Lindenwood being around St. Louis would make them a great location for a team with the Jr. Blues close.

So....watched the highlights, and didn't see the hit for the Sox that tied the game until now..... Why are they not playing no doubles defense with Verdugo there in the 8th? 3-2 count, runners moving, tying run on first? If Arraez is playing the line he catches Verdugo's hit, or at least knocks it down to keep the Twins ahead. Just don't get it.

I hope Pineda asked to be pulled. If he didn't Rocco is a moron.

I would have shot Tom Kelly if he hadn't bunted in the 91 series in game 7 with Chuck Knoblauch. I have a feeling in the same situation today, Rocco doesn't bunt......

Been a Twins fan for 35+ years. Its a long long season, and each season has its ebbs and flows, but this is what I see as problems going forward. 1. This team is soft. Like super soft. I get the days of Ripken are over, but some of these every day guys are already on pace to play less then 120 games. Guess I got to used to watching Kirby and Herbie play every day. 2. The bullpen. I have a friend thats a huge White Sox fan, and he laughed when the Twins got Colome. "Ohh, you'll see". Maybe move him away from the closing? I won't discuss Rocco's bullpen management, because thats a book. 3. Moving runners.....we rarely steal, we don't bunt, we don't hit and run. And times when the offense isn't going waiting around for a home run isn't going to work. You have to create offense. Like in hockey late in the game.....if you are behind, you pull your goalie to create a numerical advantage to try and create offense. 4. The over shifting. I'm old school. I get why people love it, but I can't stand it. I have no issue when a guy rips a base hit to left field. I do have an issue when we don't have a guy playing 2nd base and an easy out or outs are missed with runners on base because of statistics in a round ball round bat game. Every time it happens its deflating as hell to the team and like yesterday it costs them a huge inning. I should get over this, but we get killed by this too much. End rant, long season, shut up and watch the games Wilbur......But can we please not pinch hit Sano any more?

I'm kind of in that boat as well. Had some okay success in the NAHL, nothing earth shattering though. Being a GF kid I see him ending up at the school though.

They scored 30 less goals and played Miami six times. Sigh......

Let's see how full Mariucci is when they don't have an attendance cap. The global pandemic the last three seasons has really hurt attendance there.
