I like how the roster looks. Should be a very competitive team in the Summit. Think it’s going to be a little different from last year’s team. Last year, teams (especially teams like ORU and Denver) really struggled matching up with the size and physicality of our back court + Omot. This year’s team will be considerably smaller. I’m hoping we can shoot it better from 3 across all positions. I like the mix of guards we have. Agree that I’d like to see Treysen at the 2 but doesn’t look like that is going to happen. Mara is the wildcard as far as perimeter players go. He’s got the tools and I think he takes a jump in year 2. I like Woodson and Mayar at the 4. Both provided something different. Amar will hold it down at the 5 for probably 30 mpg. Will Matthew’s and Erickson be enough for 10 mpg? If Amar is in foul trouble or gets hurt then what? 4 scholarships at the 5 isn’t great roster management but it may have to happen

I agree with sliding Trey to the 3 and starting a 3 guard lineup. I like Woodson and Mayar at the 4. Both provide something different. Amar at the 5 with Matthew’s and maybe Erickson providing some spot minutes? Will Mara be ready to play some real minutes off the bench? With 1 scholarship left I don’t think you want 4 scholarships tied up at the 5 spot but maybe you need another 6’6” -6’8” body on the wing? Not sure what would be best

Not sure if they even play the same position. Woodson looks like a 4 to me. But yes is beefier and can shoot it better. I’d say not the dynamic athlete and can’t handle like BJ could. I think 2 dribbles was the most I seen him take. Still think he’s a good fit and would be shocked if he couldn’t be a productive player at this level.
