I mean he technically won a conference tournament game last year. If they go .500 in the Summit and win another conference tournament game I could see an extension happening. Right now I think Ryan Erickson is our starting center? There’s a lot of work to be done and not enough scholarships available that I’m aware of
-
What’s going on? Who are we even recruiting right now? How many scholarships do we have? How are the Bismarck Kids + Bothun still on the roster?
-
I thought we were compensating for the time, money, and resources put into a kid? Not the kids NIL value..
-
Are FCS programs going to compensate d2, d3, and naia programs that they poach players from?
-
Hard pass. Recruit an actual big guy
-
Yep unfortunate that he’s had coaching changes at both his stops. He’ll be all conference this year and back in the big 10 next year
-
Minneapolis
-
He played at Miami. He left midseason after Miami coach stepped down in the middle of the season
-
Former 4 star. Played a year at Miami. Was going to transfer to Iowa but Fran got fired so he re entered the portal. Huge get for St Thomas

Look at those names
-
This is so depressing
-
We’re so lucky to have a coach that wins 33% of the time
-
She's a 5'2" PG with 37/32/79 shooting splits and more turnovers than assists
-
I think the men’s basketball team is the only program on campus that doesn’t get academic support
-
So we have 2 or 3 open roster spots and need to grab 2 centers? Also who is going to score the ball for this team?
-
I’m not sure 4 scholarships are enough to fill the holes in this roster
-
The beautiful thing about the portal is it goes both ways. This years 1st team is a great example. This is where players transferred in from Barnstable - D3 Cluff - High major Forte - Mid major Moni - D2 Sutton - JUCO White - JUCO
-
It’s starting to feel like if you have a good coach, he can move on to a bigger program after a year or two
-
I really like the decision. Goes to place where he’s needed, they probably over paid him to keep him from bigger schools, and hopefully he has a big role playing in the best conference in the country. Maybe they can pull a Missouri and go from bottom of SEC to tournament team in one year
-
But why do we care about developing guys for 3 years and then hoping they pan out? People complain about high majors using us as a development league, we need to be doing the same with the local d2s. You get too many of these guys on the roster and you end up like last year. One scholarship for a back up guard and you give it to Reggie Thomas who can’t play.

I guess I just don’t understand taking these long term projects that may not even be d1 talent. With high majors filling a majority of their open roster spots with transfers, there’s a major trickle down in the level of high school talent that low majors can capitalize on. There’s no reason some of these kids on our roster shouldn’t be a Mary or Minot playing and developing. If they’re truly d1 players, we can grab them out of the portal later on
-
Has a d1 committed kid ever not made all state in ND?
-
I know he's a long term project that fits the 3 & D mold. I'm just a little worried because we already have 2 ND kids on the roster who were long term projects and they appear no where near ready to contribute 2 years later.
-
Should we be worried Karson Ouse didn’t make All State in North Dakota? I know Kindred is a good team but still…
-
I’m not sure but you were the one claiming NIL was why she was leaving
