It would be nice to have a lefty that could actually knock down an open shot

Many HM are prioritizing the portal over high school kids. This results in more talented kids at the mid major level.
-
Do you follow high school recruiting? Why is that talent at the mid major level?
-
Mid major fans need to calm down about the portal. Always complaining about the talent they lose, but never acknowledge the talent acquired because of the portal. The portal works both ways. Good coaches figure it out, bad coaches make a million excuses on why they can’t

Difference is Richman has had success in the SLT. People do not like his personality, coaching style, and philosophy on the regular season
-
I’m so high on Moni. Wonder what other offers he’ll get
-
Yes, Richman has been a significant factor is guys leaving that program
-
Look up the number of transfers ndsu has had the last couple of years.....
-
Can we blame him for having no SLT wins with his own recruits? Dude needs to bring in an even better portal class than last year now
-
Jacksen Moni in portal. Everyone pitch in some NIL money so he can be our starting center next year
-
But if UND played in the first 4 in it would definitely be “March Madness” lolol
-
I’m guessing they sold him on needing shot creation and thinking he could fill that. They may have even locked him in a room and played nothing but Kyle Guy highlights.
-
You need to take the 10 or so non D1 wins out of there. Unfortunately, I think it’s around 35%
-
Rhode, the guy that has started 27 games for an ACC team that is 23-9??? He’s being called unsuccessful??? Wow
-
Keep hearing UND fans talk about grass isn’t always greener and he’ll take a lesser role blah blah blah. Let’s look at the most recent D1 transfers for UND DAE - First team All Big West Moody - First team All Big Sky Rebraca - 3rd team All Big 10 Ethan E - played 26 mpg at CSUN Tyree - started 60% of games at JMU, including 7 of last 8 games played. Just couldn’t stay healthy Paul Bruns - transferred to be closer to home, starting on a Summit League team Only player it didn’t work out for is Seybian Sims. Still not sure how he even ended up at another D1 program. Let me know if I’m forgetting someone but 6 for 7 or 85% found success at their new homes. Sorry if this defeats your narrative that people can’t have success outside of UND.

Good luck BJ! Can’t complain about a kid doing what he thinks is best for his future
-
Wait so if Bothun is moving to scholarship and Kraft is supposedly moving to scholarship, we technically have no scholarships available the moment? (Yes I know some will open up in the next couple of days/weeks)
-
You don’t say? You mean to tell me Eli King and Treysen aren’t PGs? I remember someone (not you) lecturing me all offseason about how they were PGs and they could easily play the position. Funny how the team played better once a real PG took over
-
Multiple former players have said that Moody was kicked off for having a kid. A former coach denies it. Truth is probably somewhere in the middle
-
It would definitely be a lot asking for a redshirt freshman PWO to step into the rotation of a team that hopes to compete for a Summit League title. I hope they go portal and try get someone with some experience to fill that role, but if Kraft is good enough to fill it then I’m totally ok with that.

The haters are sick
-
Unfortunately the men’s basketball team is not doing well in the classroom
-
Year 6 is the year Sather will get his first SLT win with guys he recruited. I got faith he will turn it around
-
Year 1 Bottom half of conference, lose in championship by 36 Year 2 Bottom half of conference, lose first round Year 3 Worst team in UND history, one of worst D1 teams I’ve ever watched, don’t make SLT Year 4 Finish 2nd to last in Summit League, lose in first round Year 5 Finish 3rd, lose in first round due to one of the biggest choke jobs you’ll ever see
-
What an absolute choke job by the coaching staff. You hate to see it
