If you don't care about the Gophers, Why do you write about them over and over on your blog and this message board. You may not give them props but you do talk about them alot. oh yeah in regards to 7>5, I thought Gopher fans are the arrogant ones.

Your brothers friend who played for Lucia can have his opinion but I guess I will take Lucia's accomplishments as a coach to determine if he is a good coach or not and there not too bad. As for Stuaber leaving, it had nothing to do with Lucia retaining him, he left on his own because of his business.

Can you back up what you say about players that want him gone and the people who work for him that want him gone. As for the fans, I would say that there are some who would like a change ( these are mainly your knee jerk fans, just like the sioux fans who want Hackstol fired when the team starts out slow ) but I wouldn't say it is the general consenses.

I agree with you, that's why it's laughable when I hear people say that the WCHA will make sure the Gophers are in the Final Five or NCAA tournament.

But we all know the Gophers have the refs and the WCHA in their back pocket. Atleast, thats what people keep saying. Isn't it great.

Brent, You are entitled to your opinion but I don't think you are going to get to many people to agree with you that Anderson is a good referee.

After Stoa got called for the CFB, Lucia was applauding Anderson who was near the face off circle on the same side as the Mavs bench.

Thanks for confirming the DU bench penalty. My original post on this topic pointed out that UND had four straight power plays earlier in the game before DU had their five straight power plays.

I may be wrong but didn't UND get a power play on the bench minor?

I believe DU also got a bench penalty on that call since it was served by Matt glasser. Thus it was UND's forth straight power play.

Alot of people are talking about Denver getting five straight power plays, which seems alittle excessive, but remember UND also had four straight power plays earlier in the game which may have led to Dwozs frustration with the officials.

With the Gophers hosting their own holiday tournament and playing in the Holiday Showcase (Michigan, MSU and Wisc) it does limit their non conference scheduling. But in the last five years I know they have been to New Hampshire, Boston University, Ohio State, Omaha and to Alaska to play in their yearly tournament.

Out of curiousity how has lucia treated fans poorly?

I know the NCAA wants to get regionals off campus but I guess I just don't understand your point how its an unfair advantage. EVERY school has the opportunity to host a regional.
