How far in advance are the NC games “planned”? From what I’ve seen, Alaska seems to be on the upswing, Lake State is “iffy” and St. Lawrence is St. Lawrence. Don’t know much about Niagara in terms of trajectory… omaha would do themselves a favor by doing a HEA and a Big Ten team early on to shock their freshman class and grow ‘em up faster. Early NCHC games are no place to learn, by then it’s too late…

That’s exactly what I mean. He had the talent this year, and failed. They had the lead in several losses. I think this year is on him. We’ve blown some leads to be sure, but things ended up pretty well considering. I feel bad for the players, they deserved a shot. As I said, that’s my wife’s team so I’ve watched several games. No reason they lose to Miami and Cc. Absolutely no reason they lose to Lake or St. Lawrence. Some of it was preparation, some of it line ups, some choice of strategy. All on coaching. Sure he’s young, but you don’t get paid to learn on the job. This is the NCHC.

It was a different omaha team, and they took western to the edge in both games. Yeah, I know we swept western but the season isn’t over. Omaha played the top 4 even this year, when was the last time that happened? I think they have a lot to solve to be a regular threat, but this years team was close. Granted, the real test is next year, they are losing significant offense.

that's exactly right, these events should be adding to our lives, good conversation, fun chiding, competitive spirit. Most fo the a-holes from the 2014-2017 era have moved on. And I say that for many of the fanbases. Must have been sunspots or something.
