Their defense got exposed at Baxter. If Omaha hadn’t laid back in the third, it could have been much worse. The shelved the offense on Saturday to cheat towards defense. Rowe is not solid in net and we need to just pour in shots.

We used to run mountain trails because it worked more muscles and increased balance. Not that GF has any mountains…

Agree, especially with CC and Omaha showing growth and development. Talking trash does get tiresome, especially when you read the board's rollercoaster comments. I am most interested in watching two teams battle at their best. Thinking back to the frozen face off between 16 and 18. Great games, DU, UMD, UND, well worth the ticket and something to look forward to. Never got into the "I know you are but what am I" BS. We have some problems, but need to be humble and accept it. No, not accept it, just tone down the rhetoric a tad. The whole "I hope the entire D transfers in January, we need to bring in a goaltender at New Years" stuff is a bit much. How about Berry and company actually solves problems instead of buying bandaids? They have the talent, they need the motivation. To me this is reminiscent of Blaise's time at UNO, his defensemen just stood there, his forwards seemed to believe they could do it alone. Doesn't work that way...

We’ll need you to change that to ‘hawkkid27’ then. I will change mine to businesshawk if you do!

Been watching the game. UNO has dominated DU. At worst, playing stretches even. Interesting.

Omaha up 2-0 on Denver

You need to remember that the preparation is as important as the actual play. The team needs to be prepared for various blocking tactics. Warm ups will be critical to ensure that the game plan goes as expected…

Well THAT lightened things up a bit!!!

You guys have dirty minds. I was, of course, speaking of Castor canadensis!

Could be, but my bias is that we try something with flames, or some kind of three dimensional lettering. We could also try faux logs to build the letters. Might distract the beavers if they see some good wood…

I apologize if it seemed personal, I think I was reacting to the ‘spark’ and was actually reacting to the general tone of the board, more so than your comment. No, I wasn’t satisfied with last night, I just don’t get as worked up about as some. Not that I am correct and they are not. It’s just how I roll. Every night a new adventure.

“Embrace the suck” - military slang = To consciously accept or appreciate something that is extremely unpleasant but unavoidable. in other words, appreciate the efforts of a group of young men, trying their hardest to not disappoint. In no way should you expect your self-esteem to be measured by something in which you have merely an observers perspective. In other words, you shouldn’t expect to be able to beat your chest for something done for you…

I can’t help but notice the similarities between this board and Nebraska Football Twitter. All the teams that get trash talked on here suffer the EXACT issues, and have for years, that you guys are predicting in the future. Recruiting, location, coaching, etc. Settle down kids, embrace the “suck” as they say!

I believe the tie was Omaha on Saturday night.

Ok, I am going outside the guardrails here… either call them the ‘Jimmy Wimmies’, or, the ‘James Dames’. I’ll see myself out…

From Neutral Zone: 2 years ago-ish… Jayden Jubenvill #3 (F, L, 5’11”, 165, Parkland Rangers Midget, 06/19/2003)- Jayden is a smooth skating defenceman with elite puck-moving abilities. His stride is fluent, and he makes getting around the ice look effortless. His edge work is smooth, and he pivots well when transitioning from offence to defence or vice versa. He is serving as the team captain this season and he played on the top defence pairing. He also played top power play minutes where he quarterbacks the power play. The ’03 has quick puck movement and he did well to get pucks on net tonight. He picked up one assist on the man advantage after his shot on net was not cleanly handled by the goalie and a teammate was quick to pot the rebound. His offensive instincts are superb, and he is a threat to put up points in every game he plays. He still has the smarts and skating to be responsible in the defensive zone and he is quick to get back into the play after offensive zone turnovers where he is caught down low. Jayden should be a treat to watch all season long and he has really rounded out his game compared to other seasons we have watched him. Grade: A (3.25 *)

Operative words ‘great passes’. Maybe others could try that! Who knows what could happen!

And don’t forget they tied LIU the week before they came to the Ralph!

I think to some degree it’s possible, yes. Reading the board at times seems like a rollercoaster. Everyone gets their opinion, but I believe it’s never as bad, or as good, as ‘the posted opinions’.
