I definitely agree that it should be a best of 3 for the semis and championship. Don’t know about the regionals though. It would taken too long. How about this... realignment into 8 leagues and only league champions or tournament winners in?

Regardless, the players on scholarship are getting something else for their efforts. If they don’t break into a lineup because of competitive lack of skill or effort, that is not on the coach. We’ve all seen the prima Donna bs. And, as fans, we deserve the continuity of team development and payment for OUR loyalty.

No, it’s that awful Colorado College announcer. Hopefully, the new staff will have him enter the portal and he will find a job in Minneapolis...

Since so many people thought it should be “Thome’s net”, what happens if he does indeed transfer? Does he take it with him? Do we have to get new ones? Who would pay for that? And, would that get Brad fired? I mean, so many questions...

But he is a center man. We just didn’t have room necessarily. He’ll do well I am sure. I liked his game.

He’ll be a catch for someone. Great skater, pull away drive. A center, and they don’t grow on trees...

If it does, college hockey will become like every other sport, lacking the sense of fan loyalty and support it enjoys. The players will control what is not theirs, and the continuity will be lost. The only solution will be paid to stay and we know how that will turn out. Quite honestly, the joy and value of the olympics was lost when pros entered the competition as well..

If this tournament had been played in a pod, with teams 17, 18 and 19 present in voluntary reserve, we wouldn’t be having this conversation. If a team fell out in the first round, *boom* replacement! In the second round, the loser to the COVID team in the previous round goes in their place and so on through the championship. It might sound awkward, but at least the credibility would be higher.

Proximity, not necessarily walking distance. Being in the Midwest, we drive 4 hours for day trip. It doesn’t have to be downtown to enjoy the city...

But at that age? Boston is a fun, yet very expensive, city, with a lot to offer.

Honestly for a young man living in Boston would be a step up.

They have to bring Thome back, how else can we argue that it should be his net so that we can fire Barry?

Actually, I think UNO would have preferred WMU. They match up much better skill-wise with them. You can’t make mistakes against Denver but you can get away with some smudge against Andy’s boys...

And more so than that, look at the fan bases that suffer the years upon years of missing out. Middle of the pack guys (and put your bias aside for a moment) like Western and Omaha and Bemidji and the like. Their pain is different and nothing they can control. At least we have that culture and draw and fan base to pull the best recruits and carry that swagger into any rink in this country confident that we will play the game at the highest level..
