Great, can't wait for NIL to ruin college Hockey too - I understand the argument for it, but it really is about the worst thing for college sports overall IMO.

Why are all these bigger schools just now really starting to get into hockey? Is the sport just becoming more popular nationally or? Seems kind of like all at once with UNLV vs AA, ASU really taking a step forward, Wildcats, now fricken Georgia? Not complaining. Just think it’s odd?

I always get into it with my co worker about this one. He was also saying how good Iowa was earlier this year and I just brought up conference schedule over and over. I would agree that going 13-0 should in theory make you eligible for the playoff. But there is only 4 spots. And going 13-0 on the American conference or 12-1 in the big 10 simply is not the same as going even 10-2 or maybe even 9-3 in the SEC. But this should be argued as a reason for the expanded playoff - which I am certainly a fan of. 8 or 12 teams would be cool. but it was expected for both Cincy and Mich to take losses on this one.

They aren’t bad. Jacksen Panzer was playing for minot for a bit who played Bismarck this weekend and he’s a soon to be UND player. He’s back at EGF high now. I believe his brother ? Still plays for Minotauros who swept the bobcats this weekend.
