Not serious, but it has always been a pet peeve of mine when Dakota is spelled a different way, or for that matter, when any word is spelled differently to make it seem cooler. See: trendy restaurants and stores for an example.

I have always had a problem with the ND logo as well. The only workaround for this is to mandate that "North Dakota" is displayed under the logo. Not an ideal solution, as it would STILL get confused, but it could help.

UND fans, as well as the other NCHC fans were offered a presale opportunity. Each school had a unique code, I assume the sections have been predetermined based on that info.

Jason, What sections were assigned to UND fans for the NCHC tournament at the Target Center. I would like to buy a tourney package, but be in or near the UND sections. Thanks!

It's been a slow climb back, through transition and the Sioux Falls loss. UND football is very very close to being back. A good season this year could really bring it to a new level!

Why? Win at all costs, that's why. Teams win, fans buy tickets. To end this problem, fans need to stop going to baseball games. That would get the attention of owners. Fans have to say enough is enough!

They got their publicity. I imagine the editor's meeting(s) where this was discussed, and someone in charge saying: "Let's go with it!" Makes me shake my head.

I think the new name will be something like this. You know it won't be anything related to a human or group of people, living or extinct. Animals might even be off limits!

It's a question we always asked ourselves in our group of guys who prepurchased Final Five tickets each year: If UND doesnt' make it, would we still go? We always said "yes", but never got to test it out. I think a ton of UND fans who already had tickets would still go and make a weekend out of it, but there would be no walkup gate at all.

What is this baseball you speak of?

Actual attendance will be awful if UND doesn't make it!

So we are looking to buy using the select a section option. Where are the UND sections at? Yes, I know the whole place will be full of UND, but are there set sections that anyone can confirm? Where are people buying? Behind the nets looks sketchy, as they seem far away from the boards... Anyone get hotel booked yet? Where at?

I will also add that they need to find a better mix with the canned music (pro game) and the band (college awesomeness at its best!)

I will add that I reallllllly wish they had the ND logo on our home field, but it ain't happening folks. The only way to address this is to contact the higher ups at Alerus Financial, ask them to do it, and threaten to pull your account from them if you have one, or tell them you will never bank with them. (yes, this is petty, and won't work anyway, but if you are looking to address the issue, it is much better than posting it on a messageboard. My opinion)
