Isn't it basically saying ESPN made the choice? ESPN has mention of the Bean Pot on their web page, yet they don't cover any other college hockey stuff. Maybe this was an attempt to keep the Hobey Baker winner in the East.

RedWing, Ask Baker about the student suite that students were supposed to be able to win every weekend. We have had to put up with a lot of crap since REA opened, yet we never got what we were promised. We were told that the arena would be open all day so we could go in early and watch video highlights. The upper level people still have to wait outside (suckers!).

That is a great sign. I think that deserves national coverage.

I have always thought Jake was better than Jordan. Tonight was probably Jordan's best night. He looked really comfortable and didn't make any mistakes. It almost made me forget how bad he looked on his dive last week. I heard PCM knows the true story about Brandt and is selling it for $19.95.

Maybe Jake is going to try find the author of the INCH article that made fun of him for the pull tabs and CB calling the USHL for a goalie. He may then be going to find a good Super Bowl party. Another option is that he got frostbite on his hands from the cold weather. Maybe they want to give Ziggy a chance. Lastly, maybe it was meant that Brandt wouldn't be playing the odds in his bet on the Super Bowl.

Obviously I didn't see the UAA-Denver game, but there is nothing wrong with a penalty in overtime or any other point of the game. The rules are meant to be called the same throughout the entire game, regardless of the score or the players involved. I wish this happened all the time, including in the NHL. It is a sad story to hear when the ref told the UND player that it would not have been a penalty in the 3rd period.

Wow, this forum has been quiet this week. I expect it to pick up after the game tonight. I predict Denver playing clutch and grab hockey, with Adam allowing it and penalizing our players for fighting through it.
