Sioux need this game badly, or they'll be in a battle for home ice, with everyone below them winning this weekend.

Sounded like the Sioux dominated the last half of the first; trailed 10-5 in shots, now lead after one 15-11. If they can keep the 5 on 5 dominance going and stay out of the box, they should be ok.

Anyone else have a real muddy, noisy sounding internet audio? Or is it just mine?

Berkhoel was very good. Brandt also made several tough saves. The first two Denver goals came from lucky bounces, the third should have been stopped by Brandt. A good way to gain a tie, at any rate.

If Parise stays for his junior and senior season, I'll vote for him every time to the site. Same with Bochenski. For now, I'll vote for the obvious team leaders and upper classmen. Spiewak, Notermann, and D. Hale (can't leave out the leader of the D). Don't care either that the Hobey is supposedly a one year award, they get my vote for career contribution to the Sioux. It's always a long shot that any Sioux get the Hobey; just don't have the media coverage that those in the major cities do. Hrkac had to totally blow the competition away in points to win, the Sioux will not have a winner this year. However, if somehow the leaders of the Sioux get recognition by becoming a finalist, that will be good enough for me. It will be a tough final few weeks of the season this year, and without that leadership, the Sioux could mail it in now.

The INCH projections don't fit the current pairwise. But, since it's unknown what the committee will do with sending teams across the country, who knows. The Sioux are in a position right now where going east appears to be the strongest possiblility. Believe INCH is assuming that the NCAA will avoid making teams travel long distances, once again. Plus, everything is turned upside down anyway if the league winners (in the weak conferences) don't win the post season conference playoffs.

For those that have directtv, the Friday night game will be on channel 645, FXRM, directtv. The Nuggets take over Saturday night, however Guess one of two is better than none.

Sounded like the D played terrible. Out of position and poor outlet passing all night. Blais said they had a bad week of practice that carried over into the weekend. Lucky everything went in last night. Trying to win the McNaughton definately slipped further away. Would be helpful if CC goes on to win tonight to help the Sioux maintain a hold on second.

Buffalo Worcester Providence Yost Mariucci Above are the regional and FF sites. Anyone know if all but Mariucci are NHL sized surfaces? Appears just Mariucci is Olympic size. Good for the Sioux, as long as they avoid playing at Minnesota. Would appear CC and MN would be the WCHA teams there. Which means it would likely be better to get sent east than play in the Yost with Michigan. Lots more business to take care of, however, before worrying about that.

Killing 24 of the last 25, it appears the PK is coming around. Will be big if the trend continues into Mankato, who were 7/14 at the REA earlier. Shut down the Kato PP, and a sweep is very possible.

Agree with Minnesota losing making more sense. Cheering against Minnesota a problem? Not a chance, since I don't have to live there Besides, I like CC better (and Wisco, but don't tell anyone).
