  1. Now he needs DeMarchi to start something. Would be interesting to see if he (Demarchi) hits anything from the front. He does sound scared. Bet nobody has been blasted from behind so far; probably won't happen.
  2. Bet it's one of those your wife ripped up ant stuck in the rag bag. I lost my Happiness is a Large Gutpile shirt. NDSU(CKS) ought to be around somewhere.
  3. Hale rooming with two Gophers. Ouch Thanks for the article and pics. Good stuff.
  4. I used this until google added it to the toobar. Works well also, and is freeware. Used ad-aware also, but don't like so many apps running in the systray, so I changed. ZoneAlarm is a good software firewall.
  5. Since I like the google search engine and use it often to search the net, I've installed the google tool bar http://toolbar.google.com It has a built in pop up blocker that works well. For ad cookies and such, spybot search and destroy. http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_desc...id,22262,00.asp Also, use IE's advanced privacy settings for blocking, allowing, or prompting for cookies.
  6. Two Lamoureaux's and another Central player are leaving for junior hockey this year: http://www.grandforks.com/mld/grandforks/s...rts/6767325.htm

    Mesa State

Mesa scores in OT, Sioux don't. Going to be another long year in football.

    Mesa State

Finally, tied and probably headed to OT. Solid second half, but the offense needs to improve. The hogs are not making holes for the RB's.
  9. You need to ask what he'll being doing Oct 4. Work is out, without question. Both hunting and hockey, maybe???

    Optimism

Ya' think There's plenty of room for optimism, somehow the players back should have learned something from that swoon.
  11. So Hasek is back. Interesting Team D also, with Skarperud on it.
  12. Obviously you can handle 15 minutes of sphincter slamming
  13. Is streaming audio still available from somewhere, for fb games and, eventually, hockey? Couldn't find a link to a fb broadcast yesterday. At the office where I get a 222 stream, the webcast quality was better than I've watched in the past. At home, however, with the same broadband bandwidth, my old system just doesn't handle that stream, and backs off to a 40-50 stream, rather poor quality, not good enough to pay for (until I get a newer system).

    2003-04 Schedule

Deer season opening weekend in ND. Actually it opens the day before, at noon. Best weekend for ducks and geese, if there are any, since most ND'ers are busy driving up and down roads "hunting" deer
  15. That would be normal. Isn't INCH out of MN?
  16. No Sioux recruits made the list of 8 defensemen (Smaby???) and 6 goalies. http://www.insidecollegehockey.com/7Archiv...tsdefg_0201.htm

    Webcast

The video broadcast link on the siouxsports hockey page is a dead link, for me.
  18. Hard not to pick Hrkac, but I'll pick James Patrick.

    Webcast

It took a month to get siouxillustrated across the state, data on phone lines doesn't move much faster
  20. That's true, not until next year, but the article on the Grande Prairie site says he was working out with the Sioux this summer also.
  21. Radtke was supposed to have been in GF working out with the team for the past 6 weeks (starting July 5). Can any GF'ers confirm this?

    Webcast

I went through and selected the two freebees and "checked out". Not sure what will happen after 300 users "buy" these free views, but I'd guess it will cost everyone thereafter $8.95. Will add that when my dsl is running correctly and I get the full 222 kbps download speed, the example videos are decent. Unfortunately, for the last couple months my dl speed is often only 20-50 kbps, in which case the flix are not watchable. Hope the ISP cures the problems they've been having but not holding my breath.
  23. Firewalled or not, you need to install the patch if you run win 2000 sp2, win xp, win server 2003, or nt4 to plug the security hole that allows the blaster worm to gain access. Win 95, 98, 98SE, and ME are not affected. In addition (not related to the blaster worm vulnerability), if you install file and print sharing, don't bind it to tcp/ip.
  24. I agree, time to let this thread slip to the second page.
  25. The Jay to Jeff then into the Gopher net for the GWG at then end of the great period 3 comeback (1999, I believe). And the replay, showing Jeff taking off from deep in the Gopher end, while the Gopher forwards stood still and watched the action taking place in their own end. Don't believe any of them made it to neutral ice. Always love the defensive work ethic of those Woog teams
