You need a big dish that you can adjust to coordinates. Can't get those bands with a directtv system.
-
Actually, Cindi already answered, and said she's checking into the problem.
-
The UND Alumni site lists two possible coordinate systems; a KU band, and a C band. Assume one is analog, while the other is the new digital? http://www.undalumni.org/view.htm

That is a bit different than the NHL. Appears subject to referee determining (guessing at) intent. Looking at the replay, couldn't tell whether Bochenski saw the puck, but he certainly turned his skate just before the puck got there. Judgement call, and the Sioux got the break.

Canady was super on the first PK. BC did go just 2-8 with two 5 on 3's, and they obviously have plenty of skill for the PP. As someone else posted Bochenski really messed up the third period 5 on 3. Smaby looks very good defensively also, good skater, with a few more games he should be a very good dman. Some big hits by Greene, that were, surprisingly, not whistled. THey were clean though. Don't know who the BC player was that dived to draw the Hale penalty in period 3, but it was classic. Hale had a light hook on him initially but had released him entirely when he dived. Feet went above Hale's head. Somewhere along the line this diving has to be coached. It's so apparent in every game I've seen BC play.

Last year it was a server at the U (that does the audio decoding) that would get turned off, by possibly a student. After it occurred a couple times the UND Alumni Org. made sure it didn't happen again. I've emailed Cindi at undalumni, who was very helpful last year. Usually you can get 96.1 music at any time during the day when you click the hockey audio link, however, it's still down this morning. Hope someone gets it going today. Maybe this is a ploy to sell more dataflix. Seemed to work last night.

Appears, Pat, from your article, that the college rule for deflections off skates is the same as the NHL. Bochenski certainly turned his skate to allow the puck to deflect off it, but did not "kick" it in. In spite of the CSTV announcers saying over and over right to the end of the game it was an illegal goal, I'd guess it was legal. Never once did they discuss the "rule". And the tv broadcast never did show the posters; I'm disappointed.

Stafford is a hell of a player. He's going to be a big time scorer for the Sioux. Parise looked 100%, played well. The BC diving team came out on the ice in the third. Worked well, as Anderson once again stuck Sioux in the box. BC couldn't get a penalty if they tried. Good hospitality for the visiting HE team, except on the scoreboard. Not sure if this Anderson is from the WCHA, or is new to the WCHA. Greene made some big time hits in the second and third, and, although clean, would probably have been stuck in the box by last season's standards. Nice win, now get off to a better start tomorrow.

Don't know about that. I'm not sure what the college rule is, but that goal would count in the NHL. Bo didn't kick it in, but since his stick was tied up, turned his skate and let the puck deflect off it. Anyone know the college rule?

Grafton sneaks in occasionally, but otherwise Central and RR. Does Fagrow have hockey?
-
Don't know about Todd. There have been two other Anderson's, but don't remember this one.
-
Four Sioux back defensively on the 4th BC goal, all on the same side of the ice, leaving Forrest alone, and Eaves got the puck across to him. Better game now that checking has become legal. Think Anderson thought he was doing a women's game in the first period, although more contact is allowed in women's hockey.

Watching CSTV. Todd Anderson is very quick with the whistle on Sioux hits, while BC is allowed to play normally. Did call one of two takedowns on BC; takedown on Parise was allowed, but one on Murray was called. Anderson was given a clear opportunity to give the Sioux a 5 on 3 on the very obvious hook on Fylling, but chose not to. Sioux finally got things going 5 on 5, but it did not stay that way for long. Fylling has been good, as has the Parise line, but nothing in the net yet.

THis happened last year a couple times early in the season. Someone turned off the server at the college. Hope it's not a repeat of last year. Heading for the CSTV pregame now.
-
Guys in the other thread have the webcast up and running. The audio stream is not yet working. Wonder if there's a problem?
-
Are you hearing the Hennesy pregame on dataflix. Nothing going yet on the audio stream.
-
Appears that all Sioux home games are at 7:35 Fridays and 7:05 Saturdays. Pregame audio is not going yet either. Where RU TH? Somebody at the college turn off the server again?
-
That is how dataflix sends the video. The siouxsports TV feed with the Hennesy radio broadcast.
-
THink you may pick up the audio, since it's the Hennesy radio broadcast, a half hour before game time. The video will come up at game time, when Hennen and the siouxsports network team start the TV broadcast.
-
Good to hear; hope he's at near 100%. Game is on TV out here, would hate to miss ZP.
-
Hope you can get the TV cameramen to show a few shots of these so we can watch on CSTV.
-
"Is it just me or are we saying Mottau in every other sentence" Should have been saying, " Mottau with another defensive whiff on a Sioux forward", then it could have been in every sentence.

Here's a BC fan who's been reading too much from Gopher posters on uscho (posted at eagleaction): No reason to expect anything LESS than a sweep. A split would be a disappointment. UND is a one-line team who has a freshman goaltender and questionable defense. He goes by the handle of Pinhead, which seems to fit.
