    Dec 19 game

The Sioux schedule shows them playing the U18 team next Sunday afternoon. THe ralphsworldjr site shows it to be the USA WJ (U20) team. What is right?
  4. Technical difficulties, the "tap" was not working to begin the game. THe one FSSN camera started behind the net (wasn't that tough to watch), but when the link to Duluth's feed wasn't working, apparently moved to the corner, not much better, but it didn't seem to take long to get things working.
  5. Given the Sioux have played more games than anyone else in the WCHA, their current second place in the standings is misleading. Probably time to check out the whatif and post here: WCHA Final Team GP Pts UMN 28 44 CC 28 42 Denver 28 40 UW 28 38 UND 28 37 UMD 28 30 Mankato 28 15 SCSU 28 14 AA 28 14 MTech 28 6 Yes, I think we'll see UMD again in the REA.
  6. Although I"d agree the Sioux are playing better than they did during the Mankato, Gopher weekends, losing at home to UAA has put them in a position to finish bottom half. Check out the Whatif. THe Sioux can finish fourth, but they must sweep at home, and split on the road. After the UAA loss, I don't have a lot of confidence that the Sioux can sweep Mankato, Bucky, and Denver at home while getting a split at the World arena and UAA. If they do that, they will finish 4th or 5th. Sweeping all three at home may well be a must, however. The Sioux have played more games than anyone else in the league, and don't have enough remaining series to make up ground unless they get some weekend sweeps. I do have the Sioux finishing 5th, because UMD has a more difficult remaining schedule, and I think they'll continue to face a multitude of PP's, given the cheap after the whistle stuff they insist on doing. But, to do that, the Sioux must sweep Mankato at home and SCSU/UAA on the road. CC demolished UAA over the weekend, seems that Lawson has lost his luster, giving up 13 in two games. The Sioux must do the same. WCHA Final Team GP Pts UMN 28 44 CC 28 42 Denver 28 40 UW 28 38 UND 28 37 UMD 28 30 Mankato 28 15 SCSU 28 14 AA 28 14 MTech 28 6
  7. With the Sioux on the PP, a dog dman took Murray into the boards, from behind, up high, slamming his head into the boards. I've no idea how Murray survived that hit without being seriously injured. It was as cheap as it gets.
  8. Duluth Wisco has won so Mankato stays two points behind the Sioux in the loss column. Sioux are really in a battle for 5th with a long shot at 4th. Top 3 is unlikely.
  9. May have to get back to the Bina/Radke rotation. Bina had a tough night defensively tonight, after playing well last night.
  10. Sioux are back in 6th place in points lost. They'll need a very good second half to gain home ice.
  11. Play has been very physical. Can't disagree with any of the calls so far, although there have been many.
  12. Interesting that Bo is playing LW for the Sens; a position at which Ottawa is very thin; they are strong at right wing.
  13. Didn't UMD also graduate a dman who was very good on the PP.
  14. THe entire puck must cross the goal line.
  15. Where are you getting this? The Dogs' radio broadcast? Sure didn't appear that way on TV. Looking at the box, 6 slashings on UMD, 2 on the Sioux. Don't believe the cheap physical play of the Dogs helped them much.
  16. Mankato wins 4-3 in OT.
  17. Kato ties it, 3-3, 2 minutes left
  18. BAdgers have scored twice in the 3rd, it's now 3-2 Wisco

  20. Package was $455. Single game tickets are $40 for any games involving the US or Canada, other games $21 or $28. All available tickets are in the upper level.
  21. Shocking that gopher hammy is throwing s***fits (on uscho) over Lee making the team, while totally agreeing that Earl should not have, while being all over the good reasons for Hagemo and Golig..... however it's spelled were selected. Looked at the uscho thread fully expecting to see it, and, there it is. Hammy is unbelievably predictable when it comes to anything connected with Sioux.
  22. Massen took a hit knee on knee along the boards (no slash). His knee bent in a direction that knees don't bend (must have had his skate planted). Wouldn't expect to see him anytime soon, maybe not for the rest of the year
  23. 4-2 Denver wins. Wisco/Dogs are still 2-2, i think. Kato/SC 2-2
  24. 3-2 Denver after 2. 2-2 Wisco/UMD after 1 (Wisco scored tieing goal with 0.6 sec on the clock in the first).
