Younger brother David leads the SSM tier I bantams with 89 points in 35 games. Some of those have no doubt been scored in Canada.
-
Now that shouldn't require a definition
-
First you can give us the definition of "newbie". I've been wating all day for the definition of "sudo".
-
Then there's a new poster on POI (2 posts), who says that Kessel committed to BU on Tuesday night.

Believe the story on Chelios was, when visiting UND, that he told Gino he was taking one more visit (to Wisco) before making his decision, Gino told him if you can't pick ND right now, then you may as well go to Wisco. Seem to remember that Kobesew was down to UND and BC, don't remember seeing a verbal. There are a whole lot more rumours available since Gore's invention.
-
Suter says he's going to Wisco.
-
Don't believe UND is in the mix, one can only hope he pullls a Parise. Although I don't remember much written about where Parise would go except for the "pinheads" writing him into future BC lines.

Nice to read after the Canadian article. And, although verbals are not solid commitments, they almost always become signings, only rarely does a kid back out of verbal. Don't remember past Sioux verbals changing their minds, although it has probably happened. Most recent changed verbal I can remember is Hagemo verballing to Wisco, then signing with the Gophers. For Gopher fans that's probably as entertaining (or more so) than beating Wisco on the ice.

On the CC web site, sounds like a local CO TV station will pick up the FSSN feed (Sweeney, Bredahl) on Friday night.
-
It's an excel spreadsheet file; you should get a window asking you to open or save the file. Do you have excel?
-
Currents stats for the SSM AAA team (xls format). Tied at 58 points with Duluth recruit M. Gergen.
-
Fairly sure theralph site showed earlier this year that both games would be on FSSN; recently changed to Friday only. And 6:05PM is not the right game time, someone is time-zone challenged.

The pressure of being #11/12 is getting greater as the Sioux get closer to the bubble, ie playing their way out of the NCAA's. F and D (M and W) mentioned over and over again this weekend (while the Gophs were stinking it up) how playing for the McNaughton takes too much out of the team that wins it, and leaves them weak for the playoffs. Are we to assume, then, that teams finishing second-last in the WCHA pick a weekend, or weekends, to coast and save their energy. If that's the case the Sioux should be well rested for the playoffs.

Holding my breath waiting for motivation to set in; asphyxia is not a good thing.

The PP is much better, but what made the PK go down the tube. Once aggressive, it's now passive, especially at the point.

Hakstol in the GF Herald said a dman got caught along the boards up by the blueline when the GWG was scored. Caught how and why? Schneider had a Cow tied up at the net but no other Sioux was in the TV picture, no other dman or forward, none on the passer nor the scorer, as well as noone in the passing lane betweeen the two. Chances of not scoring were almost zero. Can't tell on TV, but were all Sioux except Schneider standing still watching the clock run out?

Replay of that one was shown tonight (Sunday). Puck definitely went in, through the 5 hole and under the back of the net, didn't even slow down. Net didn't look like it was oof the ice, but it obviously was.

Check out the ticket exchange. Wisco series tickets tend to be hard to come by but you may find lower bowl available there. Leftover student tickets (upper bowl) go on sale at 10 AM on Thursday the week of the series. Wouldn't expect there to be many available for Wisco. Without a car, you may be best off staying at one of the motels on the east side of I-29, not too far from the REA. The Super 8 is just a short walk to Dagwoods, one of the popular watering holes that has a shuttle to and from the game. They generally run just one bus, first come/first served so check with Dagwoods for when they run it. Try a Red Pepper grinder, although you'll have to call for delivery without a car. It's nowhere near the REA or the motels. Whitey's in East Grand is also a popular spot, but you'll need a ride to get there.

Self-editing is possible by you.

Sioux remain in good position for 5th in the WCHA, given the Dogs lost 1 point on the Sioux this weekend. UAA may be the next bottom 5 team with a chance to take home ice away when the Sioux travel there. The top 4 are nearly decided, unless MTU can come back and beat Denver again tonight.

I"ve always thought Campion is the best of the WCHA. New guy Zelkin seems to be good also. Sioux lucked out in that Adam was supposed to be doing the Mankato series this weekend, but couldn't make it.
-
What's with the unaggressive PK. Sioux have had good success pressuring the puck but this weekend the Mankato points are left totally alone, with lots of room. Mankato point men are in a shooting gallery on the PP.
