    UND vs. BC

First good period the Sioux have played since Maine.

    UND vs. BC

    Quick send me a Guiness.

    UND vs. BC

Waited a long time for a Sioux 5 on 3, and BC had the puck the whole time.

    UND vs. BC

What month will the Sioux get a 5 on 3?

    UND vs. BC

Sounds like the Sioux are forechecking and getting the better of the puck possession time. You guys watching on TV? Doesn't sound as bad as it looked last weekend.

    UND vs. BC

Gametracker shows the Sioux with the first 8 shots, before BC got one.

Sure, open gametracker and the Sioux audio link seperately. Works fine.
  8. I think you'll pay the $12 for a month, and there is (was?) a disconnect fee as well. Lots of college hockey on the Fox stations, though, if you like to watch a variety of teams.
  9. http://theralph.com/ticketexchange/ Looking quickly I see 3 posts for two tickets for $24, 25, and 27.50 each. The ticketmaster tickets I bought averaged $31 each.
  10. There are currently tickets for the CC series on the ticket exchange for lower level tickets with prices listed that are less than I paid for upper level ticketmaster tickets. Would expect the same sort of offers for the SCSU series. Check in a couple weeks before the series.
  11. Whoosh.............
  12. Not sure, but it could be one of those Canadian words like "shed-you'll", gutshes, Chesterfield, or "eh"
  13. What has been learned, however, so far concerning penalties? There was no consistency in the penalty filled Friday game, and Friday to Saturday was a total turn around by Anderson. Think it's safe to say that the Sioux will not get away with hooks, picks and cross checks by the D. Not sure what their opponents may or may not be able to do. Thought the HE referee in the Maine series was far more consistent than any WCHA referee I've seen this year.
  14. Sister of Sue, I believe. Biggest regret is that Taffe was able to run and hide after every after the whistle punch to the face he delivered without ever paying for it. He never even had to serve 2 minutes in the PBox for it.
  15. Will McMahon make the trip to play on Saturday?
  16. Foyt?
  17. McMahon and Prpich have been the best two forwards on the PK. Another reason to stay out of the box this weekend.
  18. Some have fairly big houses down here, too
  19. Are there 20+ jock straps hanging in the rafters among the 7 NCAA title banners?
  20. If the boys stand still against CC, which they appeared to do last weekend and sounded like they did at Mankato, I hope my seat in the REA reclines.
  21. You may have noticed in the Sioux schedule that WCHA teams do not play home and home series against each other. Each team has a so-called "rival", who they play home and home against every year (in the Sioux's case, that's SCSU). Everyone else rotates among 1 series at home, 1 series on the road, and a home and home series. For example, last weekend's Gopher series is the only one between the 2 teams this year. Next year the Sioux will play one series at MN, and the following year will have a home and home once again.
  22. Greene giving a face wash. That's not going nearly far enough. McMahon innocent; of course not.
  23. You trying to ruin my "sweep everything" weekend before I get there
  24. Lucia is obviously a fan of face wipes and punches after the whistle, with the Goph opponent not retaliating.
  25. There's not time. I have tickets for the CC series in two weeks. I don't want to watch the effort I saw on TV Saturday night. Then again I was at nearly every game in the the old (then new) arena at the end of the Rube era. A bad team, but the boys gave more effort than the show this weekend. The Gophs didn't even throw a forecheck at 'em, just back off to the blue line and receive the puck for another shot from the slot. Awful. Hard to blame the D, no forwards were in sight to pass to; where were they, at the Goph blue line, hoping for a bomb? On the other hand, guess I'll have to give 'em time to adjust to the inconsistent boat load of penalties game.
