Got $2 back once, a coupon code for a free view another. WHo knows, have never received a full refund.
-
Seems to be, all the time.
-
Game has started; dataflix has not.
-
Starting to believe we're going to be posting complaints, and asking for refunds, again JPar is in net.
-
I'm waiting for it to start; nothing yet, not even pregame audio with warmup as I've seen at times in the past.
-
10:05PM CT. Not on FSSN. You can pay dataflix and hope for the best, Or listen to TH for free on streaming audio (again a maybe, link isn't working currently)

Has the trip to Alaska been cancelled? Can't find info anywhere.

Parise and Bochenski looked good out there together. Hard to believe those two with last year's team didn't get the NCAA championship. Looked like Bo was ready to be shoot out shooter #4 if it hadn't ended with the third straight goal by PlanetUSA.
-
Odd that INCH would call their rankings "Power", since it bears little resemblance to the real PWR from which tourney teams are selected.

I won't feel better until the Sioux win something, but that won't stop the Posts in the scoring thread on USCHO went wild in the second period Sat. when the Gophs were scoring and taking the lead. The bandwagon suspension has to be stressed with so much jumping on and off in the middle of one game.

That's what Minnesota is lacking. A defensive defenseman

Smaagard did get bumped into the crease but used the bump to put a good hit on the goalie. Love the irony in Woog's complaining about Hamilton not getting an extra penalty for, get this, "punching after the whistle."

There is no way to crunch numbers and determine that, since a lot depends on what other teams do. As Sics said, just win. As much as I'd like to see the Sioux in the NCAA's, if they can't sweep UAA and SCSU, split (at least) with Wisco, and then win a home series to go to the final five, they may as well watch the NCAA's on TV with the rest of us.

Dahl must be feeling the heat. In the USCHO recap, he tried hard to take credit for the OT motivation that resulted in a win. Maybe he should have tried some motivational coaching prior to/during an NCAA game. Still can't understand CC's success this year, they haven't looked like a top team anytime I've seen them, yet, until last night, they've beaten the bottom 5 (except Duluth, who has underachieved to get where they are) WCHA teams soundly. Think they may be coming apart at the wrong time. Getting outplayed and winning (CC vs UND) is not always a good thing. Could make for an interesting home and home with Denver to possibly determine the McNaughton winner. SCSU will likely remain a TUC when the Sioux go there, which would be a good thing. UAA is not far from becoming one (maybe they will tonight no matter what the outcome). Would be nice if the Sioux were playing TUC's in all of their last three series. In those comparison the Sioux currently lose but remain close (2-1), their record vs. TUC's is the easiest to tip in their favor, which makes winning mandatory. Backing into the NCAA's is no way to get there anyway.

Lowell dropped 4 comparisons with their loss to NU last night. Sioux tied at 10, or at 9 with the 3-2-1 bonus. Not playing isn't always a bad thing.

Googling sudo reporter, the top find is "this board". What a surprise. Possibly PCM's job title should be upgraded to siouxdo reporter. Interesting that all you coach's show reporters from last night avoided a fictituous question/answer that would have started an NCAA investigation.

Goren's numbers are 22-21-43, third on the team and has a large lead in +/- at +23. Reminder that the AHL all star game is on one of the ESPN's on Monday night.

How 'bout a little creativity. Make something up.
-
I think when the tourney rules are to play it out until someone wins, it counts as a win. Shootouts to determine who is in the championship count as ties.
-
Answers my question and gives me even more info. Nice to have a board with so many that know something (or look it up), as opposed to USCHO.

Protection is an NHL thing, and is hardly needed in college hockey. Greene is an excellent dman, in spite of all the ragging on him that goes on in this forum.

The Wooger harps on many things Sioux that are a bit over the top (sudo-assists ). Our current D have been very good, in general, at moving the puck up to the forwards, who, in most games, have created a number of good scoring chances. One dman who scores cannot replace a whole team of forwards that cannot. Great to see Chorney added to that team. Wonder if Toews will play for Canada?

I've always thought it's much harder to replace experienced defense, and you're usually in for a tough year when that has to be done (next year's Sioux). This year, my expectations were very high, given the entire defense returned. They have lived up to defensive expectations, with the exception of the early season penalty calling which put them in a hole game after game (although, without looking at the numbers, they didn't give up many PP goals). At any rate, it seemed that the Sioux would have enough offense to win consistently when they held opponents to very few goals, but that hasn't happened, in spite of some good numbers from the freshmen class. A team with this many upper classroom, an experienced defense, and a very good, productive freshmen class reminds me of the '82 team, but the results are much different.
