  1. No doubt TH and co. will be there doing the games. The question is, will the servers in GF be up and running to send out the streaming audio. They've been up, I think, just once (last Saturday afternoon) since Jan. 1.
  2. That did happen. Saw it on TV also. Guy tried to spit on the badger in the pbox. Not sure if he had the trajectory to get it to him. Expected security to show up in the picture but they didn't while the TV camera was on him.

How many 17 year olds hold a press conference to tell everyone where they are going to college. Unreal.

Agree; seems like Skippy's second coming to me. At the close at this morning's kfan show, the kfan people decided they don't like either Moorhead or Warroad in the two MN state tourneys. I wonder why?
  5. The uscho article was done prior to last weekend's series. So it happened to Burish 2 years ago? I have seen coins get thrown on the ice in the old REA. Someone may have been throwing them at Martinello.
  6. thanks, googled after I asked. In the write-up Moorhead was ranked #2 in the final poll but I can't find the #1 team. Who was it and didn't they make the tourney?
  7. Looks like reports can be found here for those of us that can't watch. Also KSTC TV appears to have brackets and other info. Warroad vs Albert Lea today at 2PM; Moorhead vs. Rochester Century tomorrow at 2PM
  8. Oh, no, that thread brings back my bad memories of deciding to drop $100 on dataflix

The fan voting seems strange this year. The finalist list may only remotely resemble the fan list.
  10. The old (then new) REA crowd was much less than 50% at the end of the Bjorkman era. Fortunately it did not take long for Gino's teams to fill the place.
  11. We're waiting.
  12. He's from Sask, and his parents spend more time in NWND than they do at home.
  13. Saturday? He got in a good shot (actually a couple) when Wisco nearly scored at the end of OT on Sunday that at the time seemed warranted after the two Wisco tackles at the other end. In fact, I was yelling at the TV screen for the big Sioux D to tackle the Wisco guys before they got the good chances at the end of OT. There is no way Campion was going to make another call.
  14. The Virg article states he landed on the puck.
  15. Speaking of Ludwig, he was an assistant for the Dallas AAA midget team that played recently at the REA midget tourney. The Wisco Sunday game, a bit concerning that the Sioux seemed to die again in the last 10 minutes of the third. Didn't appear they were backing in trying to preserve a tie, but they were badly outplayed during that stretch yet again. Lucky that JPar and the posts preserved the tie. Some good jump again in the OT, scoring chances eliminated by two glaring tackles by Wisco in their own end. Sioux, although not slow, are not as speedy as they were in the late 90's, but Wisco certainly can make a team look faster. What a bunch of big plodders. Can't imagine them making the FF. And who is going to call in Wednesday night and ask the "where's Radke" question?
  16. 642
  17. That's the one, and there were a couple others. Zajac won some big faceoffs, especially in the Sioux end when Wisco was on the PP. Also two more PP deflections that didn't go in; he's due.
  18. Great period by JPar. Earl ended up on top of Jpar in the flurry, unpushed, McMurchy took the opportunity to lay the lumber to Jones head, and Greene finally got in a couple shots. Wisco also got away with some hooks and holds when the Sioux would have had breakaways late in the game. Would really like to see Radke out there. Don't understand why he has been benched after playing so well the last few games he's played.
  19. First Wisco goal was a 3 on 2. They found the open man, but the shot should have been stopped. One of the forwards got caught in deep, play was not blown by dman. Why cable. I had directtv until cable offered FSSN. Would rather see the Sioux than Minnesota.
  20. The 'look" may be relative to Wisco's speed. They have very little.
  21. Smaby mishandled the puck behind the net and put it out front right on Carlson's stick. FSN is probably using the FSSN feed, becuase their have been no replays of any of the penalties.
  22. If you live in an area that's gets Fox North as its regional station, you'll also get the Wisco alternate, 642, without having to pay for the Sports Pak.
  23. For those outside radio range, FSSN TV range, or without directtv or dish, the Sioux streaming audio link is working this morning. Now why can't they get it working when all of the above are not available.
