Little energy in the arena for either game, and not much for any of the four teams. Thought with the game close Sandelin would have the Connely line on a lot, ;but they weren't. MDU played like they were resting for the regionals. Maybe that will work out. Reiter way off the angle on the tieing and winning goals, not sure what he was looking at? Would guess the largely Sioux crowd will be helping BSU this afternoon

The second time this decade that I thought I'd see a Sioux/Gopher game in person. The last was the regional at theralph. Guess I'm bad luck for the Gophers. Chances are better than usual that the WCHA autobid steals a spot from the remaining top 16, although the Sioux or Duluth have to be favored to get it. I hope to see Sioux/Dogs on Saturday night. As expected craigslist has exploded with ticket sales, most for under face.

Tonight will be a new challenge with a blizzard all through the state. We've had a whiteout in western ND since this morning, but I've been getting a strong signal on 91W feeds in spite of the storm and a coat of snow on my 90cm. Not sure what to expect on the FSSN tp when the storm reaches eastern ND.

Didn't think it could get even worse but it has; absolutely 0 vis, can't see my pickup parked in the driveway 10 yards from my window. Not sure how the in town kids and teachers will be able to drive home from school. Worst yet this winter, which has seen several.

We had white out conditions before noon out west (snowing, wind 47-57); could not travel a block right now out here. Was calm and 38 this morning at 7AM, would guess all country kids at school will stay in town tonight. REA may be a bit empty tonight without the folks that hoped to drive to GF. Hoping my KU band isn't wiped out by the storm tonight.

Wasn't able to make it last year, but I"ve been by the Hoggsbreath to and from the X. Really quick and seems short, of course I wasn't driving and may have taken a longer way around if I was driving. Not sure about this year again with family now in Blaine (rather than Shoreview); may have to stick around with the grandkids and miss again.
