The Sioux are lined up in the bracket that would contain the Gophers, so, that bracket will be on Thursday and Friday nights. If theGophers are upset by UAA, who knows?
It was repeated multiple times by the Gopher broadcasters + Woog between periods on both Friday and Saturday nights this weekend. It would appear, however, that finishing 5th was not the way to do it as they said.
No reseeding, brackets are set. What's confusing is Woog and the MN announcers kept repeating the Gophers wanted to finish 5th and not 6th, because then they would avoid the Sioux in the Friday game (if MN won Thursday, also assuming all home teams won next weekend). I don't think they were right.
Powered up at 77, but you could see they dialed it down to the low 60s, then up, stabilizing at 70-71. Get an occasional drop into the 60s, could be another problematic broadcast, unless they bump it back up to where it started.
KId stopped at the ticket office and bought, so I didn't try calling; thanks for the info. Tickets disappearing fast, assuming it's because of the better position the Gophers are in for home ice.
The was one poster in particular that used multiple usernames to log in and change reps on himself and a couple others by 50-60 changes in one day. That brought about the limit.
While the board now limits any one IP to one + and one - daily, that same poster makes sure he gives the one - to one individual and one + to himself daily.
Box office is closed today, so, I'll try tomorrow and if I can't buy by phone and avoid ticketmaster, I'll have someone in the Cities stop at the Box Office and buy them when it's open.
Called the listed toll free number, and got locked into a ticketmaster loop. When I finally got to a live person the price/tcket was higher than merely ordering online through ticketmaster. Of course I cannot find a phone number for the exel ticket office, just the number that takes you to ticketmaster.
Do those that buy the same seats every year get a discounted price, or are they the same face value of a new buyer ($160)? Bought from a Gopher fan last year, but may do the box office buy this year to have the option next year.
B2 generally streams well, but quality varies by building. The St Cloud arena appears kind of dark on the broadcasts, not sure why, may be the building, may be the quality of video equipment used.
