  1. Same as directtv; nbcsports friday and rootrm saturday
  2. Thanks for that important bit of info, we saw it as well, and it looked like a good goal, no kick anywhere that I saw, and it didn't make a difference what it bounced off. But it looked to me like it went off Reilly's leg.
  3. 1st place team in HE=Merrimack And although I wasn't referring to the UND loss to BU, I suppose the more BU loses down the stretch, the more that loss to BU hurts in pairwise, now that you brought it up.
  4. Can't believe the 1st place team in HE is so low in pairwise, after beating highly ranked BC. Must be some bad losses in there somewhere (UAA, Alaska, BU twice, Union).
  5. Does the bar have public wireless internet access? If so it the bandwidth may have been shared by too many users, in which case, a different PC won't make a difference.
  6. I've never had an america 1 stream freeze, although the quality has varied greatly based on the arena, etc, etc. This one wasn't the best, especially at the "left" end of the ice where glare from "lights"? wiped out most of what one could see. It didn't ever freeze for me, however.
  7. Midco definitely wants to be added to dish and directtv. I don't doubt they are counting on the outcry by thousands of Sioux fans to those satellite providers to make it happen. All we can do is continually ask dish/directv to add midco to their sports paks. If we can get Knight up to 30000 votes on the Hobey site, we can certainly overflow the satellite TV's with emailed requests. Best to start ASAP. And the number of emailed requests to those providers is not limited to one/day/computer/browser. The absence of pro team content, however, will no doubt be a problem. While I have not yet given up totally, I'm resigned to the fact that Sioux hockey as I've had it on TV for the last 10-15 years is all but gone. Guess I could move to a city with midco
  8. That concerns me as well; if UND can't provide a solid server base for streaming SD to everyone that wants it, then HD will be even worse. There better be significant upgrades (not just HD) if many of us are going to be able to watch by any means. I hope I don't get the response like I have before, "we don't have a problem, it must be on your end". I have watched both HD and SD streams from others in the past (and present), it's UND's that has always had problems.
  9. All any fans can do is ask directtv/dish to add midcosportsnet to the sports paks. Many have can will continue to do so, the numbers will likely increase next year when there is no FCS for ND hockey. So far, the answer from the sat tv companies is, "we have no plans to add it at this time, we'll add your request to our files"
  10. And the problem with that is, if you do pay the higher directtv price, you'll get just a few (<5 games) on CBSSports. The rest will be shown only on midcosportsnet; unless directtv/dish pay to add midcosportsnet (not holding breath on that one), we won't see much of the Sioux
  11. No more ND on FCS next year, so, if your cable co doesn't pick up midcosportsnet, your are screwed, like lots of us.
  12. Snow finally out of both states but the webcams in SD show really piled up snow on 29; would guess it will be afternoon before these get cleaned and opened again.
  13. I29 closed all the way to Grand Forks (from SD border). Heavy snow falling from Fargo to Grand Forks. Lots of Gulf moisture being pulled up and wrapping around.
  14. The hit was after the final horn, there was no more game, so what game did he miss? If he doesn't miss the next game the call was totally worthless.
  15. I29 now closed from Watertown to Fargo
  16. Sounds like the team bus is at Sisseton, I29 now closed from Watertown north. Looks like road conditions continue to get worse all the way to GF, as the storm is now wrapping around and burying eastern ND. No return until tomorrow afternoon would be my guess.
  17. Radio pregame just started. Now said they'll be back in a half hour
  18. Don't think the hit on Jim was a penalty, can't see the arm to the head, nor the head butt. Surprised that Adam didn't call a bunch of crap penalties on ND, that's a first in my memory.
  19. There was no helmet contact, nor head butting. Clean, hard hit, but one we continue to see penalized.
  20. Rau's taunting the ND bench in the recent series (Friday night game) when the Gophers had the game won shows his true character. There was absolutely nothing to be gained from that, and the Gopher captain obviously agreed, since he grabbed the little yapper and pushed him into the bench. Reminded me of the US team taunting Canada in a recent WJC matchup, when the US had opened the first period with 3 straight goals. I think we all remember how that ended for the US. There is something rotten in Minnesota hockey, Fortunately Minnesotans that play for teams other than the gophers learn to conduct themselves like good people, the Gophers, not so much. Marriucci, yet another entire day of setting Sioux fans straight. Either you don't have a job, or your wasting much of your employer's time.
  21. Would guess NESN
  22. Hardly comparable to Rau dives. I'd have to see a replay again on Grimaldi's, but the Wisco Dman had his arm around Rocco's neck, easy to embellish that if you choose. And not nearly as blatant as multiple Wisco dives, especially in the third period Saturday night. I think Mac would have been given a hooking penalty, if Little hadn't made a very obvious dive. Best Wisco could have done with that one is matching minors.
  23. Hockey ice sort of fits a football stadium, even though lots of seats are a long ways off. It simply does not fit in a baseball stadium. You need to want to be there to go to this game.
  24. It was interesting in a game where the referees "let them play", how quickly a defensive minded team like Wisconsin turned it into an all out tackle fest. Much like the Denver team of several years ago. The tackles totally eliminated any forecheck ND might have got going, and likely a number of good scoring chances as well.
