Waiting for Jim's new pairwise predictions. Can the Sioux even crawl off the bubble (now 15) with any losses in the next 3. I expect not, all the games will be vs. teams very low in the pairwise. Any loss should end their season. Conference tourney championship is now more important than the ncaa's (since any loss ends their season). Autobid or bust, for all remaining NCHC teams. Cool to see these different teams in Minneapolis (sans Denver), but the Sioux need to be there as well. Sioux/Miami, Friday night at the Target Center.

I think the Sioux are in a one and done situation from here on out, as are every other NCHC team. The crappy noncon record has brought the entire conference to this point. Sioux can't lose tomorrow, nor can the lose to any teams that are remaining next week.

Denver with a chance to be the top ranked team next weekend, with more help from CC. If CC wins tomorrow (not a chance), Sioux fans that don't want to go to the Target Center may have to eat their tickets.

Got to get to the frozen faceoff, for pairwise if for nothing else.

SCSU could be the last team left standing for the NCAA's. Sioux on the bubble, probably even if they win tomorrow. And no highly ranked teams to improve power next weekend.

Question for the doctors: Why, when you have a hospital XRay or similar, do 5+ Dr's bill for reading it? Does it take that many, do all actually look at it, or is just an administrative automatic billing for every dr. that worked there that day?

Interesting DQ of the Fargo Freeze team from last weekend's junior gold state tourney in Crosby. I'm not now part of the jg program, once was when my kids were still involved, and had frequent problems with Fargo teams/coaches. The Fargo team had finished 9th this year (9 jg teams) and faced Minot (#8) in the play in game. Fargo won the game 9-0, one kid scored 5 of the goals. Shortly after the game tourney officials DQ'ed the Fargo team for using an ineligible player. Turns out the goal scorer had played for a Fargo HS team, had either left or been kicked off the team. and was then illegally rostered under a different name for junior gold. Obviously coaches/some-maybe all parents/ etc from Fargo knew what was going on. At any rate, someone recognized the player, and they had to leave the tournament Getting DQ'ed couldn't happen to a better bunch. Hardly fair to the rest of the Fargo players and their parents, but, when you cheat and get caught, you're done.

True, SCSU was better defensively, especially in front of their own net, than they were Friday. Parks had to have nightmares over that open net to give the Sioux the lead when he hooked it into Farraghers pad, rather than into the open net. less curved blade=goal.
