Not sure which stage of grief humor fits into but after the up in smoke line I could not resist. Sad really. The team bus arriving at the alerus: I'll be at the Alerus supporting as always, just still really hurting about this whole messy year.
-
The captains know what is going on and there are two choices: they are part of the problem or they are afraid or don't care enough to make a stand. Either choice leaves us with a 1-4 football team and what must be a pretty divided locker room.

Kids using any chemicals (including alcohol)at a young age leads to far higher rates of addiction. We all know guys who are not'addicted' to pot but need to wake and bake to get going every morning. lets move on from this conversation and agree to disagree. The guys broke the law. Bubba needs to right the ship.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/pot-legalized-colorado-teens-hospital-er/ my wife works as social worker in a very large high school and the pot use and all kinds of other stuff often thru vaping has exploded over the last 2-3 years. Kids with schizophrenia symptoms. I don't care if you want to smoke, just these kids think it is like having a Coca Cola.
-
It leads to other stuff, just as it has on this team.
-
You are part of the problem. Do you think it helps the team that many spend every night baked?
-
Yeah, selling drugs to minors. Hang'em. It would stop in a hurry. Talk to any law enforcement obout the drug problem. It is booming, especially in MS and HS.
-
Do you not understand intent to deliver? If they sold to any minors they can hang as far as I'm concerned.
-
So you are saying the scales and baggies are made up? Unless those two factors are made up, I don't care. They are done.
-
I will never ever jump ship but this a problem and I would feel better if I thought the three arrested over the last 6 months were it. I wonder how many guys are using and how often. More to the problems this year than just injuries IMO.
-
This is a HUGE problem on this team. I have hinted about it on here before. It is HUGE.
-
This was becoming a part of the team culture. It needs to be stopped NOW!
-
I am embarrassed. At some point this starts to really effect recruiting, or maybe it already has.
-
I agree 100%. This is not like they were just pulled over on their way home. Ill say it again, who were their biggest customers?
-
I am sure there are a few of you on here that hear the stories about the team. Every time I am in GF I hear more stuff that makes me wonder. I discount most of it as BS, exagerations and 'boys will be boys'. IMO there is getting to be way too much smoke to not have a roaring fire somewhere. First Poole is busted for dealing in May, and now this. Poole had cocaine residue with his arrest. I have heard stories about that too. I have been around the block enough to not expect the team to be a bunch of choir boys, but this is ridiculous. Who do we think the best customers are? How many guys are really concentrating on being a better football player and team member? I love UND football and this just sucks. If i was Bubba i would start drug testing every week and let the guys play who can handle that. i am sincerely afraid of how many guys could not handle that.
-
It will be very painful. This goes deep.
-
Three players arrested in 6 months for dealing? IMO this is getting F#40@#9*4 serious.
-
4-1 or even 3-2 right now and the Alerus would be sold out and rockin'. Will take longer now to make Fighting Hawk Football a must attend event. I know Kennedy wants to take the university to the next level and great sports with football and mens basketball leading the way, are the path to that outcome.
-
UND was on the verge of making home football games an event not to be missed. Hopefully it still gets to that point, but we need a few wins yet this season and then a playoff season next year. This years Potato Bowl had the feeling of an event and even the Mont State game had some of that feeling too. What a shame.
-
I think this is in the 'must win' category now for the psyche of the team and probably the staff. UNC ran for only 69 yards at NAU. If UND can hold them under 150 yards rushing, and that is a big if. Need to put pressure on QB to slow down their passing game. UNC gave up over 600 yards and 42 point vs Idaho State and gave up over 400 yards vs Northern Arizona and 48 points so Keaton and co should be able to run and pass to at least 30 points. UND 36-27.
-
This is more than just another issue IMO.
-
Trouble for players.

There is more really bad news coming for North Dakota football. As a football booster and fan it makes me question the overall culture on the team. The team is not focused the way it should be on football, that is obvious.
-
There is a huge culture problem on this team. It makes me sick to my stomach.
-
This is a huge problem on this team. You will all find out shortly. Poole was not operating in a vacuum. What a mess.
