  1. This is craziness: The 651 yards of total offense were the most since the Aggies racked up 658 against New Mexico Highlands on Sept. 1, 2001, and fell 46 yards shy of the record of 697 set against Mesa State in the NCAA Division II playoffs on Nov. 25, 2000.
  2. I hate to say it but I agree with this, I think right now it is closer to the second part of the quote....laying down.
  3. Only true frosh that have had shirts pulled are blubaugh, Shannon, and adeotti.
  4. These are all coaching issues. The president is obviously very invested in athletics and moving UND up to being a true D1 flagship university. The room for error for Bubba and co will be less than it was not very long ago.
  5. I never thought I would see a Schmidt defense getting rocked like this. May get cole back next week, but is there anyone coming back soon that can help?
  6. I don't think reps in blowout games where guys are clearly overmatched helps the team, the guys or the future of the football team. Bubba Schmidt and Rudy need to change things up now. Losing in blowout fashion will reverse all the progress Bubba has made. Hard to motivate the fan base, hard to recruit and maybe hard to keep some of his guys that are redshirti g right now. Does anyone have any legitimate info as to when any of the injured oline and ilb may be back? Also Disterhaupt went out with injury in 4th qtr, anyone know how severe?
  7. It depends if the leaders are respected. If it comes across as bs, worse than not having it a meeting at all.
  8. I asked this earlier on another thread, but probably more appropriate here. Who did keelan poole live with? Was it anyone on the team? Who on the team knew what he was doing? How many guys on the team did he sell to? None of this is pleasant for me to ask, but I find it hard to believe that he did not have some influence on members of the team. Could this be a problem? Could it be divisive? My experience with the culture that surrounds all of this, over time would yield a result like we are seeing now. The team has experienced some decimating injuries, both in scope and volume, but it just feels like something else may be wrong.
  9. I'll say it. Who did poole live with and who all knew what he was up to and who else is a stoner. It looks to me as though there is a culture problem in this team.
  10. Lack of talent and lack of passion = big losses.
  11. I thought the same thing. Lb there can't make the play at all
  12. Maybe guys more worried about partying and such.
  13. Guys notnfocused enough on football
  14. Injuries are one thing but could there be a team culture problem too?
  15. I agree with this. More going in behind the scenes.
  16. Hopefully will bring a little laughter to what has been a tough UND season so far. A little NFC Norris humor.
  17. That could have changed the game. UND gets some momentum somehow stops MSU again, outcome could be different.
  18. Only way this is not the case is if we can strike first get a lead and take the air out of the ball. If we can do that we win. The way the last two weeks have gone I don't think we strike first, they run the ball down our throats and Davis wins by 10. 24-14.
  19. I don't think we are close to getting any of the injured back on the field. I think if Bubba and company can find a way to win 6 games we should all be very happy and look forward to next year.
  20. University of North Dakota has a ton of potential, Law School, Med School, Aviation, great business school, could easily grow to 20-25,000 students in the next decade.
  21. I think Kennedy may have big ideas for the University and big ideas need a well-funded, dominant athletic department led by football and men's basketball. Hockey is awesome at UND but great football and basketball bring media attention and with media attention comes enrollment and with enrollment comes money and donors.
  22. http://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/local-sports/4334624-und-hires-consulting-firm-review-top-officials-athletic-department#.WcvLB9iR4Ik.twitter Interesting to know what triggered that?
  23. I had heard 6-8 weeks from time of injury, which makes me more curious about the status of hunt and/or larson. We need a win at Davis.
  24. I believe he had a broken fibula and also had surgery on his ankle.
