The other options haven’t looked any better. Western is good. UND is an average team having a bad night. We keep wanting more out of this team but they are who they are.

There’s certain things you need to respond to regardless of penalty outcome. Running the goalie and someone taking a dirty headshot on a teammate are on the list.

Disappointed in the zero reaction from players after the Strathmann hit. Maybe they didn’t see it but I find it hard to believe nobody on the ice saw it. Tough look. Guy just took your buddies head off and you did nothing.

They have 5 games left against Denver and Western. Those are the pairwise movers. Need to win 2-3 to make it to the bubble depending on what they do against the other remaining opponents to have a chance. I don’t see it.

Nice penalty. Go from being a man up with 2 mins left to starting ot short handed. Western could have sent zero forecheckers and pinned this UND team in tonight. Terrible in their own end.

Almost every game that gets hyped more than a standard regular season game under Berry’s tenure is a disappointment. Get the fan base to travel and let ‘em down.

29 mins worth. They had a kneeing major called against them that I don’t think should have been a major but IIHF has always been a little too soft. Another 2 min kneeing call with 2 mins left that cost them the game. Terrible timing as Canada was buzzing and had all the momentum. I don’t know how many cross checks directly to the head Canada laid the last two games but it was certainly more than the 4 goals they scored.

It’s not a situation where Berry sent out a goon squad at the end so I’m not sure what Larson’s issue is other than being a sore loser. You’d think he’d be used to that by now.

There’s just no creativity in the offensive zone. So many rushes either odd man or 2v2 where the play just dies. No hitting a late trailer. No vision plays. Nothing. You couldn’t tell UND had any more skill than RMU this weekend and that’s pathetic.

Didn’t lose at home for over a year and have now dropped 3 straight.

DU isn’t losing many games this year. Steal one tomorrow and help pairwise otherwise this is a bubble team at best.
