  1. Congratulations Bismarck Fan, you posted something that brings fans of all teams together. In a related note my wife is from Bismarck and I am now second guessing my marriage... (Yes, I'm aware she probably has been for years...)
  2. Wow, Minnesota really has to require Diplomatic Speaking 101 for star athletes.
  3. That's it, I want my money back...
  4. Didn't you hear, your not allowed to pick all favorites...
  5. I like what this article says about his patience. The goal he scored in New Hampshire comes to mind. He seemingly waited forever until the goalie had taken himself out of the play and finished from a sharp angle. The goalie had to clean out his breezers after that.
  6. I understand. And certainly wouldn't want that. BTW, do you have any idea when the schedule would be released?
  7. Posting them here would be nice...
  8. Great point. We may enter a situation where the matchups are forced regardless banding. In addition, Denver will be in Denver and 99% Michigan will be in Grand Rapids. That tells me that HE is coming West and greatly increases the chances of UND going East.
  9. A couple of updates. I removed August Aiken, as he has disappeared. I added Zack Budish - Edina as he is considering UND - You can watch him at the State High School Championships I also added Tyler Landman - Roseau because Hak mush have been watching someone up there... 2007 (or 2008): Riley Nash - Salmon Arm BCHL I suspect any other recruit would be an 08 with Bruneteau coming in 07 2008: Expect some 08s to be asked to defer to 09 Forwards: David Toews - Shattuck-St. Mary's Derek Lee - Salmon Arm BCHL Kelly Zajac - Salmon Arm BCHL Joe Colborne - Camrose AJHL Cam Lamoreux - Drumheller AJHL Stephan Novotny - Shattuck-St. Mary's Justin Johnson - Eau Claire N. HS Defense: Brett Kostolansky - Shattuck-St. Mary's 2009 Will be a large class. Forwards: Zack Budish - Edina Tyler Landman - Roseau Defense: Aaron Ness - Roseau Ben Hughes - Shattuck-St. Mary's Ben Montgomery - Shattuck-St. Mary's
  10. Thanks for adding to it...
  11. Do we bench Duncan?
  12. I really hope we see something of Forney next year, though a year in the USHL might not hurt him. It just seems that he is always hurt. Genoway, Zajac, and VV have stepped up in our rookie class which is good because Forney was the headliner. INCH had him as the #3 incoming forward in college hockey, and other outlets thought similar. Without a resurgent Forney, we have a real blue collar class this year without an elite player. Fortunately this class is sandwiched between two class with many elite / potential elite players... All this said, how bad is the Thrashers organization when he moves up two spots in the rankings.
  13. With the amount of play Frazee is getting on youtube, maybe we should call him Hollywood.
  14. Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that Wisconsin is where offense goes to die... Back in the 80's Wisconsin was fun, but this Eaves crap is just miserable and bad for hockey. When everything is said and done UND will have on of the top 5 classes in the nation like they do almost every year. That is why we have been in the national quarterfinals or better 8 of the last 10 seasons, and this season looks pretty good too... And Kent if you don't like what the Sioux fans have to say go away. I seriously doubt we are in the minority calling Wisconsin's style boring...
  15. Preaching to the choir. KRACH is the best mothod, but you can bet that the NCAA doesn't want 6 or 7 WCHA teams in the 16 some years.
  16. Kent, To sum it up. Wisconsin is where offense goes to die. They turned a great player (also from Salmon Arm) like Ben Street into an also ran. Derek Lee should realize for a player of his caliber, UND is far better for him.
  17. That is a very tough line-up to crack. Injuries are creating an opportunity and Stafford looks to take it.
  18. WCHA Goals per Game 3.32 UND 3.25 UMTC 3.18 SCCC A little surprising given the start we had. Hopefully our losing 1-0 games is done with.
  19. I noticed this, must have been the combination of weather and an important road game. Most users ever online was 325 on Mar 2 2007, 09:41 PM
  20. Trupp with 4A Hextall with a goal and ONLY 1 penalty! Trupp is now in the top 15 in scoring points per game and getting stronger. http://www.bchl.bc.ca/leagues/hockey_boxSc...p;gameID=330633
  21. UW will be worse next year, if I was Turris, I wouldn't even show up, after him that team will have nothing offensively. Wisconsin beat us when we were reloading, and without a healthy Oshie and Toews. Congrats on the championship, now try winning a game on the road. Wisconsin is where offense goes to die. Wisconsin will continue to be pathetic until they get a real coach.
  22. Stafford's goal was a beautiful tip and was the game winner.
  23. I believe that some of them may be done?
  24. All jokes about Minnesota aside, being a #1 gives you a MUCH easier game and essentially puts you into the quarters.
  25. No, the rule is that our RPI can be hurt, the rule does not address what happens to MSU-Ms TUC status. Jim, do you have the ability to project the approximate effect of a Sioux sweep on MSU-Ms RPI?
