I hope Derek Lee is watching a few Wisconsin games. They kill more good forwards. Remember the last good Salmon Arm Player that ween there? Ben Street? He sure disappeared of the face of the earth... I looked and in 2 seasons he is averaging a pathetic 1 point every 3 games. I suspect that Lee will be one of the top 08s. Lee and Toews would be a fun pairing to see in 2008.

Actually... NH has come down quite a bit, maybe if the stars align we could end up at #4. We would need to flip NH and Clarkson. Figure we would need 4 WCHA wins, MSU stays a TUC, NH an Clarkson struggle in their tourneys...

The biggest problem we have is our TUC % is very so-so and there are 4 teams that we are NOT going to catch in RPI.

Anyone get the feeling that Darcy Zajac just has a nose for goal scoring. Nothing flashy, but he seems to be in the right place, he just shoots and puts it on net, and he scores. I think he has 8 goals. For most players 10 goals as a freshman is outstanding, particularly in the WCHA.

After Friday UND has 17 comparisons. If UND beats SCCC tonight they get close to flipping Maine and BU. If they can win the rest of their games vs TUCs they have a shot at flipping Clarkson. Best case scenario, UND will end up with 19 or 20 comparisons. UND is NOT likely to flip UMTC, SCCC, Notre Dame, or NH. This means we can basically end up a top #2 seed. This also means we are not likely to be in the West regional, as Devner will likely be there as a #2 or #3 seed and UND couldn't play them in the first round. As much as I wouldn't be a fan of this we might be looking at a first game vs. Michigan in Michigan (The only good thing about this is the winner might get Notre Dame in the quarter). As Always if we are not a #1 seed, which we won't be, I hope we go out East.

So what your saying is a first round playoff loss would solve the problem.

DU conference wins. If we end up tied now, they will have more conference wins.
