  1. Don't think so if DU wins they will have 1 more conference win for the tiebreaker.
  2. bout 4 left 3-0 CC
  3. Jonathon really needs to talk to that boy. Also if I am not mistake, David would be a year older when he arrived at UND than Jonathon was. Jonathon was great as a freshman, but still 17 is tough.
  4. We need to win and it will take care of itself. From a PWR standpoint our best scenario would be Wisconsin or Tech, but Tech worries me less, (right or wrong). Who has the MSU / Tech tie breaker?
  5. Hey how about that pathetic DU offense. I hope Riley Nash is watching...
  6. Depends, Wisco is probably going to finish 6th. As such, I think avoiding 5th is more important than gaining 3rd. If CC loses we are guaranteed no worse than 4th, and won't play Wisco. Best case, now that we lost a point, is that CC take 3 of 4 and we win tomorrow...
  7. We take turn winning. It our turn...
  8. Good game, did we just watch the 2 best teams in the nation? I think if you throw out the records and just consider how everyone is playing right now, you would conclude we did. No one out east can win consistently. Notre Dame has a good record against a pretty easy schedule. DU and UMTC don't appear to be peaking right now. I think going into the playoffs you have to say these 2 teams are going to be hard to beat. I just hope we get the 5 or 6 WCHA teams spread through out 4 regions.
  9. Should Joe Finley and Brian Lee be deported to Siberia for there performance tonight?
  10. Well, you knew the Holy Cross Dynasty had to eventually end.
  11. Hey, wait, don't pull me into this... I don't claim to talk English good...
  12. Porter had a great intermission.
  13. tech scores 1-0
  14. In Goons defense, the last 6 minutes of the first Tech looked very good...
  15. 3-1 good guys
  16. I guess I agree with what he said, but to say it without providing any context. Leaving everyone listening wondering what he is talking about, I disagree with. Maybe Campion shouldn't have been refereeing, but that discussion should have been a private one. This certainly does call into play the competence of the WCHA, but I still think TH should have bit his lips on this one.
  17. I love Genoway's offensive defense, but have some serious concerns about his defensive defense. But with time and coaching that should come around. BTW, anyone catch Greene going end to end a few times against the Wild last night? He looked very good for a struggling team.
  18. Of course we all wanted Nash to commit after his visit, but if he needs time, he should take it. I'm sure if he does decide on UND, we will be happy to have him. He is an exciting player that would look very good in Kelly Green.
  19. I suppose they don't even have to shovel off their own rink...
  20. Evan Trupp with another good game 1G 1A in the loss. I wonder how close to 100% he is. http://www.bchl.bc.ca/leagues/hockey_boxSc...p;gameID=330629
  21. Ouch, TH was really out of line. My condolences...
  22. That might be taking the joke a bit too far...
  23. Or it might have been a coincidence... And this is not an NCAA violation. If I offered Riley free admission and drinks at a bar I own near campus, now than that would be a violation (with apparently NO consequences)...
  24. So its come to this... Most 2007 recruits have now committed, and I noticed that (at least publicly) you have not. As such, I assume that there must be a few ideas you must be weighing. I think though you will find that UND is a place where you can come, enjoy, improve, and go on to a long career in the NHL when your ready. As I understand, you are also considering Denver and Cornell. First thing first, if you have no intentions of developing over the next few years go to Cornell, East Coast hockey is a shell of it's former self, and you won't get good competition there. There is a reason why the west has dominated hockey this decade, better programs, teams, players, facilities, fan support, and simply put better hockey. For you to be considering Cornell you must be quite smart. Cornell will give you a good education, but as for hockey development, you will suffer. Denver is a great program, with good tradition, facilities, and has been very good recently. It makes you wonder why they have such awful fan support. Not here at UND we love our team, players, & school and it shows. If the Fighting Sioux played a regional semi-final in a Subsaharan Africa war zone you can bet that Sioux fans would still be there. Denver as a city has more to offer than Grand Forks, however as a hockey town and institution Denver can't match us. What other school has alumni that will travel a few hundred mile to see a former 2nd / 3rd line forward play minor league hockey. We are crazy about our hockey team. The city and fans are great at UND, but how about the program. Every year we improve as the season goes on and successfully replace a load of talent lost to the NHL. Not only that, but our team plays exciting creative hockey, you won't get that at Denver. If it wasn't for Wisconsin being worse, Denver would be almost impossible to watch. Forwards at UND get to be creative well having access to the best facilities in the world. Also Denver has had a nice run, but the team didn't even make the NCAAs last year. UND has been in the round of eight, 8 of the last 10 years. Here you will have a chance to play for the championship. I've been told that you are a very creative 2 way player. Great, look at Zach Parise or Travis Zajac or T.J Oshie or Jonathon Toews, they came to UND and further developed all aspects of their game. Good luck with your decision and we hope to here you will be coming to UND soon. BTW, if you have any doubts just give Travis Zajac a call and ask him what he thought of UND. If your at all leaning against UND, watch the final five and see what the UND program is all about, win or lose the will be there to play, and the fans will be there supporting them. I know you visited UND, but that may have been when this young team was very raw. I expect that you will realize how well this team develops talent. P.S. Tell Derek Lee that he can't seriously be thinking about Wisconsin. Wisco is great if you want to be a career checking line forward. I don't think that Coach Eaves has ever even had 3 players total score a measly 40 points in a season as long as he has been there. He despises offensive talent. Pile on Sioux fans, help Riley choose wisely...
  25. You don't here much about Lee, but that is maybe because he is an 08? Could become an impact college player. I wonder though how ties are with Salmon Arm after losing Winnett to Michigan. Salmon Arm has provided UND alot of recent talent.
