im sure they will do a auction and they will go for lots of dough! everyone over a grand minimum and that may be very low. usually all players get a jersey their last season whenever that should be for different players and the others seem to get auctioned.

i like the maine and notre dame but not a huge fan of playing uaa out of conference and uaf. still getting use to omaha and bemidji in there but like it! opening 2 new arenas is pretty cool for the sioux!
-
lets make sure frozen 4's stay in hockey venues from here on out. this isnt ncaa basketball where you can fill a 70 thousand seat stadium and when you move it into a corner it just lacks the right feel/atmosphere for the event. then add that the ice was bad all weekend. keep it in hockey arenas please!! made me sick to see that final game score. bc has had a hell of a 10 year run getting to the finals and winning a few at that. go sioux

im going to guess and say nelson and rodwell come in to replace vv and zajac and the rest stay back.
-
what league is brett malone in? or what level i guess i should ask? he had 34 pts in 30 games and 10 points in 9 games so far in playoffs. hes a 94' and 15 years old.
-
i know there is a zajac and a couple bruneteau brothers out there or just one, cant remember. not sure if the sioux are recruiting them. im guessing there are a few more but im not sure on exactly who
-
thanks for the info. i see the two brothers were both in the top 9 in regular season scoring. impressive
-
good numbers, the sioux havent had any recruits from bchl lately. hextall and trupp may be the only two bchl guys unless genoway comes back. there was a while there about 6 years back when they signed many bchl players but thats changed when looking at the roster and incomers

sweet, is that painted or decal? very cool either way

very suprisng he got the deal he did, ast or 2nd round deal and almost a bonus max. good for chris! per brad http://www.areavoices.com/undhockey/ In this story, I detail how VandeVelde's decision to return for his senior year was beneficial financially. His contract was in line with what a first- or second-round pick usually gets. VandeVelde was a fourth-round pick. I believe his contract is worth between $700,000 and $800,000 base salary. He got the maximum signing bonus of $85,000 and the maximum for every possible performance bonus. If he plays in the AHL, he'll get the max $62,500 there. So, it was pretty much the best deal he could possibly get. VandeVelde was in great negotiating position. Being that he stayed until he was a senior, he would become a free agent if Edmonton didn't sign him by Aug. 15 (or maybe it's Aug. 1, I can't remember off hand). The Oilers made it clear they wanted to sign him. I believe there was some back and forth last week between the parties before agreeing to the deal. herald

isnt that what the ccha calls it?
-
without a doubt its a step back program wise, not even close and many can see that. the main thing is having your own team and building something yourself and that could be a factor with any assistant coach. tough decision i would imagine if it was offered to eades.
-
bring him, joyce and hrkac in to coach all seriousness i know you have to have a college degree to coach, wasnt that a issue before or am i thinking of the wrong person?
-
thats the million dollar question in college sports. would you rather be the top assistant at florida football or be the head coach at new mexico? tough one to answer i guess as we could line up the pros and cons.
-
good for eades! any ideas who would be a possible replacement fo him? i would guess they stay in house with former sioux as that seems to be hakstols method
-
not a suprise at all if he goes there. i wish it would have worked better for corey at UND but this is the best move for him if it all works out with the numbers at D. whatever he does, best of luck but i think this could be smart for him overall if he will play every night. i believe this is very possible because if a team protects your rights i think that means they have to drop another play. i could be wrong as im not up on the major juniors rules like college
-
yeah pure guessing as of now, im sure it will clear up sooner than later but either way there will be movement on the blueline
-
i still cant believe this team didnt show up for 2 periods vs yale in a do or die situation. so frusterating and then to watch bc give up the goals they have it makes you more frusterated. the sioux didnt deserve to advance on and thats hockey i guess, moving on from frusteration kind of pure guessing on d only D blood macwilliam marto forbort simpson n. mattson gleason my thinking is the sioux need offensive help asap on the blueline and thats from day 1 in october. the d was fine overall but the sioux need production back there with goals and creating. chay brings that all to the table if he returns but cant count on that until we hear for sure whats happening. my guess genoway moves on, lapoint leaves to develop in AHL and fienhage leaves to develop and get regular ice time. hill leaves as well with davidson proving he can be the emergency d man if needed and being a extra forward. as stated the blueline is a hell of a guess for anyone and chay will determine a lot with staying or going. i would like to see fienhage back but not sure where he is at as davidson took a blueline spot over him which isnt a good sign for him. if chay comes back then who the hell knows because everything written has simpson coming in early. again just guessing on how this works out like everyone here but the top 6 above i listed would be the 6 d men i think we see nightly. 3 young blueliners but very talented as well. the sioux are deep at forward but need a big improvement with this years freshman to sophmore jump, i think nelson arrival depends how high he gets drafted. another small forward class due to pure numbers so i hope whoemever comes in can produce more than last years bigger class. cichy and toews have to get theirselves in there nightly next season and that senior class of forwards will need to keep it up. malone-frattin-trupp will be called upon to lead this team to st paul for a title run as seniors long live fighting sioux hockey!! go sioux
