  6. been to 7 frozen 4's in the last 10 years mostly with my uncle/family and good friends from back in g forks. i feel very fortunate to have seen my team in 6 of them and went to see bsu last year. the trip takes a different angle if you lose thursday its a must for all fans here if possible someday to experience a frozen 4 and especially if the sioux are in it! its unbelievable how many sioux fans show up to frozen 4's all over the nation. lets invaid detroit city! oh and FU gerbe lets get back to the dance and win the damn thing!!
  7. does each regiona have 2 sets of officials? also is a wcha ref allowed to ref a wcha game or do they always go with neutral conference refs for all ncaa games? thanks or do they mix match conference refs to make the pairings?
  8. 3 seconds in and i cant stand yale, go sioux!! without their star player or not the sioux will stop yales season! go sioux
  9. Tim's Corner great idea to have th do these bits. love hearing old stories and his take with how many sioux hockey games he has called in his day!!
  10. yes i know they have shown webcasts before so i assume either way the game will be on there saturday
  11. i think the team has been fine overall. hextall was on fire for a while and then other have stepped up. doesnt matter who it is but ill say frattin has a big weekend along with kristo to get this team to Detroit along with the obvious BE making the saves. every weekend someone else seems to step up which is why they have won 12 of 13. trupp is on fire and malone is a steamroller out there on his line. mario disrupts everything out there for the other team nightly! kristo has had a point per game on this streak. this is a TEAM in every sense. 4 more wins!!
  12. ill take eades vs a few others combined go sioux!
  13. INCH region capsule

  18. i would say this happens with most fan bases when you are dealing a team thats expected to compete for a ncaa title every year. good job so far by this team the way they have battled through various issues. this is a TEAM in every way you slice it and sure hope they are rewarded hoisting that title in motown. bandwagon or not, i couldnt care less! the more the better when the sioux win it all all fans have different ways of voicing their frusterations but i wouldnt label them jumpers. lets get to the frozen 4 and do some damage for once!! still 4 more games to win!
  19. im guessing here at ss there will be many exact brackets the key is getting the 1st round upsets correct like bc losing to alaska in their 1st ever ncaa tourney (i think thats correct) and scsu staying winless in the ncaa's? do they bow out again??

  23. hf montreal prospects 2. (10) Danny Kristo, LW, 19 Acquired: 2nd round, 56th overall, 2008 In 2009-10, Kristo has enjoyed no shortage of success. As a 19-year-old freshman, Kristo has been an impact player with the University of North Dakota. And on the international stage, the Edina, Minnesota native represented his country in noteworthy fashion, one of only a handful of returning members of the United States' WJC squad. He scored five goals and three assists en route to a gold medal. With the Fighting Sioux, Kristo has scored 14 goals and 20 assists in 38 games. Kristo looks comfortable, excelling at each level he plays. He has excellent speed, shoots and passes equally well, and works hard on every shift. He was named the WCHA rookie of the year.
