yes, i guess i should leave it at cammarata as a elite prospect but stepan seems to be very solid as well

to those who have seen these two play or know their games more than the average joe which one is considered to be better overall? or are they both top notch talent for their respective draft class along with the 2 guys from shattuck? the size that hudson has at that age is amazing and iunderstand they are still young but seem to be big time talents

A.J. Michaelson has been mentioned here before. i believe he has visited und, um, uw and not sure if hes visited umd or not but he may have already. He and Hudson Fasching (listed at 6'3 190 as a freshman) seem to be top recruits of their classes and big time talents. throw in the two shattucks stars and they could do some damage together A.J. i have never heard of a wcha team doing this. michigan tech takes advantage of a rule that you can travel over the summer once evrey four years to play. interesting. tech goes overseas chn news on tech Though we're still in the dog days of August, the college hockey season has already started for one team. Michigan Tech is taking advantage of a rule that allows NCAA teams to travel overseas to play once every four years, and competing against some German and Austrian pro teams. It sounds like a fun trip, and it's something Michigan Tech plans on doing once every four years, so every player that goes to Tech gets to make the trip.

exile or anyone else on this subject...any news on Schmaltz? is it between ohio st and und still after his de-commit?

per brads blog 1. Forward recruit Mark MacMillan has been traded from Alberni Valley to his hometown team, Penticton, in the BCHL. MacMillan reportedly requested the trade. This means he'll be playing with fellow Sioux recruit Brendan O'Donnell this season.

hf draft review - tb lightning - o'donnell Brendan O'Donnell, C - Winnipeg South Blues (MJHL) 6'1, 200 lbs b. June 25th, 1992 Drafted: 156th overall (6th round) The first of only two MJHL players selected in the 2010 draft, O'Donnell made a name for himself at the World Junior-A Challenge, winning a silver medal with Canada West, and at the CJHL Top Prospects Game, where he scored five points to lead his team to an 8-1 victory. He was named the MJHL rookie of the year after scoring 61 points in 53 games for Winnipeg and leading his team to the playoffs, where they were swept in the first round by the Winnipeg Saints. He's a well-rounded player who's capable at both ends of the rink and also shows good agility and strength, but like Mullin, has not been able to play against a high level of competition. His next test will be the BCHL, where he'll play next year with the Penticton Vees.

they have many more forwards drafted than those two.
-
per hammyhockey twitter (gpl guy and gopher fan in the know) Multiple sources tell me that a Gopher forward will be suspended. Not gonna say why other than it is not good behavior away from the rink. I don't know what this means for the future of the player. Word has it that the NHL team with his rights don't want him sitting out. Which may mean he goes WHL to keep playing. I don't believe any decisions have been made yet on his end though

it will take time for bemidji with the recruiting but it had to start at some point and it had to be in the wcha in able it to reach new heights. i think both can battle for the last home ice spot but who knows how it will turn out. bemidji hung with the middle of the wcha when they played wcha teams the last 4 years but now its the next step for them competing every weekend vs the best in the country. look forward to seeing the progrm continue to grow and to the new look wcha with blais behind a bench!

i have minnesota finishing 5-7. i like UNO and BSU to battle with them for those same 3 spots but can see UNO making a top 4 push tops but again i think they get a home ice spot. hell of a coaching staff that some gopher fans see to think will be coaching their team next fall i see scsu and umd making some noise and being top 4 teams i have no clue on UW and DU always seem to be up there but man they lost a lot of key players. the dasher can recruit so im sure they will get home ice. i just cant see uaa, tech or mankato making much noise but thats why they play.

nice! ill add him! big time recruit sioux fans. great job hak and staff! per brads blog UND lands major recruit UND has landed one of the most coveted recruits in the country. Californian Rocco Grimaldi sent me a text message this morning simply stating: "I am a North Dakota Fighting Sioux." Grimaldi was the leading scorer of the U.S. Under-17 team last season. He's only about 5-foot-6 or so, reportedly, but has loads of skill. Grimaldi's finalists were UND, Denver and Notre Dame. There will be much more coming later.
