  1. it said on uscho pairwise blog at one point that und-bc-scsu-uw are all battling for the last 2 #1 seeds blog Jayson Moy: 3-6 will be some combination of Wisconsin, Boston College, St. Cloud and North Dakota. Wisconsin is 3 with a win tomorrow, and a BC win most likely gives them the 4 and final 1 seed denver wins will get them the overall #1

  3. GO SIOUX!! the 5th times a charm
  4. awesome and finehage did play very well when he was in. wuick decisions with the puck and mostly all very solid plays. good to see!
  5. would be so hard for him to transfer sitting a year for development but he may be young enough to go major juniors?? im not sure on his age. not a good article for the gophs program
  6. great job sioux!! beat du!!
  7. sioux 4 umd 3 uw 5 scsu 3 und 2 du 1 du 4 scsu 1 und 3 uw 2 overtime winner ah hell i have no idea but go sioux!!
  8. just a observation for you fortunate to be at the final 5 you will be watching 4 of the top 6 teams in the nation in many polls and 5 of the top 11. ive always thought this was the best tourney all around of the season to watch! have fun and make the X = The Ralph St. Paul
  9. media day looks like the playoff beards are in! th and hak - tuesday game notes interview
  10. does cc or msu have any flight risks? uaa or tech?
  11. not suprising, you could read from his play last weekend he was already checked out and the worst part is he was wearing an A for that team. i think he goes down as a okposo type player as in how gopher fans remember him and what he brought to the program. i could be wrong there but ive havent read too many good things about him from gophs fans. heck its probably a relief hes gone to some he scored 45 points on a bad team last year, this year he has 28 points story INCH early departure tracker the best part of jordan leaving is.....some gopher fans praising jordan for sticking out the 2nd half of the season and not bailing after world juniors
  12. media day was this morning with the team leaving per brad http://www.areavoices.com/undhockey/ He also talked about the big weekend for Matt Frattin, who scored four goals in the three games. Hakstol said that Frattin is getting to a level of consistency that the Sioux haven't seen from him yet. Even if Frattin is not at the top of his game, his baseline level of play is still very high, Hakstol said. UND will have to make an adjustment on his line, though. The team is 9-2 since putting Frattin with Evan Trupp and Brad Malone. That's the only line that hasn't changed during UND's late-season run. Expect them to be back together after Frattin serves his one game suspension for his hit on Kevin Wehrs. If UND beats Duluth, the Sioux will have to play six games in nine days. So, UND has been very careful in trying to get players rested and healed up. Malone said the team is quite banged up right now, but they'll get the adrenaline going on game days. Brad Eidsness trained heavily this summer in order to better condition himself. Hakstol said that's going to be very important for Eidsness right now. Eidsness certainly hasn't showed any signs of slowing down. UND could make the decision to play Aaron Dell this weekend, as the Sioux already know they are in the NCAAs.

  14. little drive but nothings that far with the freeways here. RTo sullivans in mesa, az. im guessing it will have a very nice sioux crowd for the final 5 games. i wont be making it there this weekend but they will for sure have a area blocked for the sioux games. any other sportsbar will have fox sports north on direct tv but the issue is this thursday the ncaa basektball tourney starts so you may have to ask to get a channel changed at those places. its off the the 60 freeway and alma school exit and the bar is at alma achool and southern corner
  15. sucks to not have joe thursday but feinhage gets another chance to step up and fill a role still good though for most part on his news, just tough to run with anything as we all know. i love it that people post inside info here but on the other hand its tough not to speculate or call them out. thats why i choose to just let it play out instead of jumping on anyone for no sources because if they gave the source up then they wont have it anymore hope this makes sense for some. this part isnt directed at you goon, just sayin go sioux, beat those dogz!!
  16. hope someone can step up on that line for thursday and fill a hole and produce! short week is great after playing sunday then now thursday for a fans take! love it any of these headlines make it? don and the don-ettes finish BELOW .500 this season. making them a hovering .500 for the last 3 years combined overall and in wcha play or umTC fails to make ncaa tourney again and home regional since they couldnt crack the top 14 in the pairwise rankings out of 60 teams or so? keep bringing in those soft recruits who seem to give up when things are tough. schroeder was on the back of a milk carton this last weekend which baffles me because he was so good vs top world talent in last 2 wjt. hmm, must be in house and thats obvious. please keep it up don! once don is out then they can rebuild. there isnt reloading happening there as there are issues. i think the most die hard gophs fans here like sagard/fhg and cardinal will agree that thsi sint a overnite rebuild process and there is more to it that that. back to topic again frats will be nice and rested for the DU beatdown we will give them as a eye opener heading into the ncaa's we are 0-4 vs them so we are due right??
  17. hf sabres prospects 16. Bradley Eidsness, Goalie 6'0" 173lbs 5th Round, 139th selection 2007 June 2, 1989 Eidsness is having a very good season for the UND Fighting Sioux. In his sophomore year, he is second in all of college hockey in games played and seventh in save percentage with a .914. On March 12, in the first game of the WCHA playoffs, Eidsness made 27 saves to record his second shutout of the season against Minnesota. Eidsness is proving to be another great value goaltender for the Sabres. Between he and Knapp, the Sabres look to have a solid stable of young goalie talent for years to come.
  18. Tim's Corner
  19. exactly what i expected. hes been on a tear so that sucks for thursday. someone elses chance to step up
  20. could it be a day earlier now since the sioux play thursday? could be with 1 less day off or actually 2 less off days with sundays game..just a thought
  21. i dont remember any pay webcasts but you may be able to get it through justin.tv if someone puts it up those nights/days.
  22. grgoire was amazing last night. one more year and i bet he is ready!
  23. hf ny isles prosepcts 8. Jason Gregoire, LW 7D Acquired: 3rd round, 76th overall, 2007 NHL Draft Gregoire is turning out to be a solid third-round pick for the Islanders. In his sophomore season at North Dakota, the left winger is leading the Fighting Sioux with 18 goals, and has 31 points through 36 games. Although he has demonstrated good hands, a knack for finding the back of the net, and a strong two-way game, he must continue to get stronger before making the jump up to the pros. At this point, there is no need for the Islanders to rush the 21-year-old, so they will likely keep him at North Dakota until he
  24. the handshake line was fine with tony lucia and all sioux players. actually frank and doug couldnt believe it expecting a brawl of course but all those players had many kind words for eachother. tony and hextall has a longer than normal moment patting eachother on chest ect.... go sioux, beat those dogs and go from there! sidenote, i always root for umd as my 2nd team at the X but cant this year obviously. a sioux win could knock them out of ncaa tourney which would make 4 teams from wcha making tourney
  25. that will be great even from the tv viewing hakstol just keeps ending the gophers season which is pretty sweet as its becoming a nice trend i was messing with the pairwise predictor and duluth really needs this game vs the sioux. in a few ways i messed with it it had duluth dropping to 15th which would be season over for them if so. huge game overall but very huge for UMD
