There's still a long offseason for guys to put in work on and off the ice. Hopefully all the uncertainty creates competition for ice time and brings the best out of all the boys.

Never mind, i guess 14 or 15 seems to be the magic number looking back 6 years anyway. Practice should be intense next year for the guys trying to earn playing time.

Does anyone know off the top of their head if it's normal to carry that many forwards?

It's hard to create a legacy in one year. I will remember him as one of the best freshman to play here, but always wonder what he would of been like had he stayed for another year. I'm still glad he came here and I hope he has a great pro career. He seemed like such a good kid.

Next year maybe tougher than this year.

I don't like the idea of one and done guys here, but if he's going to play in the NHL hard to blame him. Best of luck to him, thanks for coming here.

I agree with you. Just pointing out that people who produce far more get far less.

Most people get far less money then they produce.

We all hope the OL takes a step forward. I'm looking forward to seeing how another year for all those boys works out.

That should be a given.

Could be any number of reasons why some of the guys didn't go. Unless someone on here knows the personal relationships between players and any other underlying reasons.

In the end I suppose it doesn't matter. I just thought the boys were finally clicking as a team heading into the regional.

UND could've won both those games they just didn't play well. It's not like Minnesota steamrolled them. As far as injuries go we had to play 3 freshmen defenseman for a portion of the year due to various injuries and our best defenseman was out for the NCAA tourney. Jost and Brock also missed time due to injury. We also definitely outplayed BU in our regional. I don't think the Gophers can say the same about their game against Notre Dame.

DaveK spent a lot of this year talking up the big 10. I told him time would tell and it has.

Since the formation of the Big 6 they only have two wins vs NCHC teams in the national tourney. That was Minnesota in their runner-up year. Also the last year they had a team in the Frozen 4.
