I'd have Wilkie over Olson. I think he's been playing a good two-way game and has more to offer. You never know he might even score.

With the way Gornall has been playing I would have to think his spot in the lineup is a given from here on out.

That line could work. Be responsible on D, hard to play against, and maybe even some offense.

I'd sit Simo for sure. I think Wilkie has been playing well enough to slot in on the 3rd or 4th line. Hoff probably has more potential upside then Olson so I'd play him as well. Also Hoff can play center or wing if need be.

Love seeing a guy like Gornall come up big. Guys like Gornall and Smith earn every second of ice time they get and they seem to be making the most of it.

I said it on the pairwise thread and I'll ask here. Am I the only one that feels like we've had less talented teams that have performed better?

I feel like they should make the tourney as well. I think we've had less talented teams make it.

I caught part of both games. From what I saw CC seemed to be using the collapsing everyone into the slot defensive strategy that we've seen the beavers use so well. I only saw about 10 minutes of each game though. If that's what they did all game it will be harder to use on the olympic ice.

They seem to play better on the road and that's a good place for a first start as well.
