It was good to see the PP show some life. The PK is quite good. I also thought Strinden played really well. -

Since Zmolek and Pehrson are both out of the lineup, I'm surprised the emergency defenseman (Montgomery) isn't in the lineup. -
At the moment it seems like anyone can beat anyone.

Remember when DU games were broadcast on Altitude Sports and were super high quality—every bit as good as Midco’s UND broadcasts? It’s not like that anymore.

Eager to see Komzak. Hope he's healthy enough to make his debut tonight, or soon at least. -

Here are the UND commits on the Central Scouting list: A rating - 1st round candidate Sacha Boisvert B rating - 2nd/3rd round candidate Eric (EJ) Emery Will Zellers C rating - 4th/5th round candidate Caleb Heil Sam Laurila Carson Pilgrim W rating - 6th/7th round candidate Keith McInnis Mac Swanson By my count, every one of UND's eligible 2006 commits is somewhere on the List. (Ashton Schultz is an '06 commit, but has a post-September 15 birthday.) Not too shabby.

Mine hasn't either. Subscriptions are supposed to renew a year after subscribing, like @Blackheart said. You can check the renewal date under the "Account/My Subcriptions" section of NCHC.tv. I originally subscribed in early October (2013 or 2014 or something) but now it's set to renew in mid-November. Which is weird.

Hrkac was just the best. The best player on the best college hockey team ever who had the best season scoring-wise in college hockey history. (That Cornell team would not have gone unbeaten had they played in the WCHA.)- 327 replies

I agree that refs need to be held accountable. Especially at higher levels of competition, like NCHC officials. It's just that I hear so much complaining about officiating at the high school, junior high, and elementary school levels that it makes me want to vomit. "We would've won if it wasn't for the bad reffing": I've heard it a million times. It's the losers lament. (And yes I've complained too.) So when a fanbase blames the outcome on officiating, it reminds me of all the whining.- 327 replies

While I don't know the answer to your question, I'll share what we tell our kids when they're in sports: Officials are going to make bad calls. They're human. But the bottom line is this: Complaining about the officials is what losers do.- 327 replies

Just a few incredible thoughts: Albrecht was really impressive amongst the forwards last night. He hustles so hard. Plays physical. Like old-time Sioux hockey. Zmolek, when he was out there, was really impressive amongst the defenseman. Please heal fast. Persson. So glad he portalled up from the beaches of Miami. There was total commitment in the defensive zone. So many sticks in passing lanes to break up legitimate scoring opportunities for Minny. That's how this team needs to play if it wants to reach its potential. Loved it. PP is total barf right now. Like, it's gonna take all year to get back to decent percentage. But the silver lining: nowhere to go but up. None of the freshmen defensemen look out of place.- 327 replies

Minnesota @ UND - Rivalry Renewed - Friday Gameday

Loving the passion here. It's still early. Hopium level: slightly diminished but holding steady. -
It looks like we all get a fresh pick? If so, I'll stick with my original Saturday pick: Blake.

Sloppy passing. Too much individual effort when attempting zone entry. No forecheck. Boo. -

So sloppy. Silver lining: Persson has been excellent. -
Question: I was under the impression that UND wasn't allowed to use the interlocking "ND" logo in any official capacity. Something to do with Notre Dame, copyrights, etc. Was that true for a period of time? Or was my impression mistaken? Thanks.
