  1. I also have commented on this before and was going to again earlier in the week about all the Bizon FB coverage in the GF Hearld. First home game of the season and there were 1 or 2 days in a short week were UND FB had no article and guess who did. Absolute Cow$hit. Looking for a slip out west.
  2. Today there are 5 inter conference game. MVFC four years ago had a 2 game advantage. In the last 4 years they went 25-10 adding 15 games. Now MVFC holding 17 game edge. 4 of today's games are home games for the Big Sky.
  3. Thanks, going to be a great day for tailgating and plenty of time with 4:00 kickoff.
  4. Where does one buy one if interested in buying one this morning?
  5. Standing room tickets also would have some kind of limit, hope we hit that some time this year. The season is here where we fill the Hawk's Nest, going to be a great year for the fan attendance.
  6. If it's a sell out, I'll take it for today. Then the 3 headed committee will need to work on it.
  7. You beat me to it with visitors tickets returned. With those tickets added in minus what was sold today we are at about 1300 tickets available again tonight. There are also standing room tickets available beyond that.
  8. Welcome back to GF and UND. C U @ the Hawk's Nest 2morw!
  9. They'll even sell standing room tickets. The Hawk's Nest has exceptionally great standing room tickets were you can go on the catwalks off the end zones. Some fans with seats even go stand there.
  10. McFeely said Deluca's injury is a meniscus tear.
  11. Heard about this last night, don't know if it's true, not really confirmed yet, there's a 5 page thread on Bisonville that's growing rapidly. Nick Deluca might be out for the season ACL,. If true, feel sorry for him.
  12. Just checked Ticketmaster Section 211 next to the 3 student sections is blanked out. This is the same section where the top half was yellowed out, on an earlier post in this thread, for the students. The top 16 rows in each of the 2 corner sections 210 & 218 on student side are now also blanked out. Sections 214, 213, 212 are blanked out for Student section. Bottom of section 217 is blanked out for visiting team, were there is a potential for some tickets not sold by Missouri St. to become available. Side sections except the 4 corners have 433 tickets available, just about all are in visitor's section 217. 4 Corner sections have 910 tickets available. In short there are 400 seats left on the sidelines and 900 seats available off the side of the end zones.
  13. you LeaveNoDoubt , very well done! Just hearing the UND Potato Bowl fireworks.
  14. I made this coment on here before, when we developed our financial woes and dropped women's hockey and other sports, that hurt our chances of getting into the B1G, if there ever were any. They might want financially strong Athlectic Departments, not those cutting sports. Also, WH has the potential to go to the B1G someday, I always considered that a plus. I threw the towel in on the B1G idea that day, but who knows?
  15. IMO, Our Athelectic Department's finances and dropping WH just decreased our chances.
  16. We kind of set the ship out to sail when our ladies joined other teams.
  17. Pic was taken pregame, they were loud.
  18. Ya, The Betty crowds haven't come close to those wars.
  19. Hyslop; just from memory in college days: Like 5,000 with the large bleachers on the ends. The lower sides would fold up against the upper deck. The end bleachers would have to be taken apart. The maple floor was even taken up for certain events. I don't remember the side bleachers ever folded up for a basketball game, but for some low profile games they never set up the end bleachers. They even had smaller end bleachers that were set up sometimes, never could figure that one out? They also sold standing room tickets and let all students in. Just showed you student ID and walked in. Some of the big games had so many fans standing in the corners on the floor many people deep that some surely couldn't see the game. Couple times students were standing behind highest seats in the upper deck. As far as I know, they didn't refuse a student. Who ever figured out crowd attendance only had a record of tickets sold, and not how many of them showed, no electronic scanner or manual ball and strike clicker at the door. Attendance # = human visual scan = guesstimate = then watered down #. When the figures would show up for attendance, we would laugh at how they were low and that for some reason they were intentionally not counting all the students. I'll add at some games they even let a single row of people (up and Down) sit in the stairways.
  20. Agree, but I would think that during Christmas student break would not be good timing for attendance sake.
  21. I remember when I was in college and this Lite beer came out and it really tasted watered down. Most would say that is terrible, never drink it. Me also. The Advertising """" Less Filling - Tastes Great """ I would say = Bull$hit..... We'll gues what? I have both!
