  1. Looks better, will send pic after game
  2. UND did have bases loaded 2 out in 4th. In the 5th, runners at the corners UND 1 - 0
  3. When you read on 'Gopherhole', don't seriously take the stuff in purple print as truth !!! Except for the comments where they say "Motzko will never win the big games"?
  4. Home plate was at the intersection of the 20 yard line to the right of the Hawks' FB bench and the out of bounds line in front of the Hawks' FB bench. Right field was towards the student section and left field was towards the FB end zone to the left of Hawks' bench. 1st base was on said 20 yard line, 2nd and 3rd bases were on the 40 yard line 60' from home base. The pitchers mound/rubber seemed pretty loose and was worked on periodically. Right field line was 200' where ideally they probably would of wanted it to be 210' like the left field line was set up at. No bleachers were moved out from the student section for this game and possible could be for a future game to move right field to 210'? Turf or some kind of carpet was put down behind home plate closer to the fence. Was pretty loose, umpire tripped on it at one time and fell, looked slightly shook up for a very short while. Overall very impressed for a first run! 1st place Fighting Hawks' will play a good Montana SB team again tomorrow and try to keep their undefeated Hawks' Nest record intact!
  5. Some fans left after 1st game, there were about a 100 new faces for the second game. In the second game we scored all 3 runs in the bottom of the 6th. Pretty exciting, both of out pitchers went the distance.
  6. We were talking, should of been yellow. Runners 2 & 3 -- out at home 0-0, 2 out
  7. Getting ready to go, picking up grand-kids, will take some pics.
  8. Would agree on these two points, especially diving - that's more of a new thing. Give you one example, occasionally crossing the line isn't punching someone to start fights. We had our various reputations over the years. I remember we used to laugh at how soft the teams out east were. Some other teams taught negatively of us. With all that, I have no problem cheering on Duluth, and that's only because we are not there.
  9. I started typing, back to without comment.
  10. That surprises me, like to hear more?
  11. A week ago, St. Cloud was #1 in the nation and so happy we didn't get in so they were in Sioux Falls. Today not so much fun.
  12. My grandkids are on the internet multiple times a day, aren't libraries being used less and less? I haven't been to one for twenty years, I'm on the internet every day?
  13. I like your Notre Dame reasoning, should hardly count as a B1G team? And, most players were from another conference, and etc. So now, I'm still for Duluth, - - - cuz - - - NCHC team, UND coach, and etc. I don't buy the dirty player stuff, we were there for many years. But, take backup winner Notre Dame, - - - for reason you mentioned.
