  1. Great win, way to hang in there at the end - something we have not been good at on the road.
  2. I've a question. If anyone knows, if Sarah was let go in Div I by her coach, wouldn't she still be able to play the next two years with another team in Div I, being she has two years of eligibility left?
  3. Interesting previous comment in this thread about Sarah Jacobson a "class act", and one needs to remember her family history at SU. Sarah mentions about letting this play out a couple of times, does this mean something? Could she be anticipating a Coach Walseth dismissal and then return (play out)? Why would Walseth kick a red shirt (which by the way already played two years) off the team with big family history, no reason stated? Kind of odd? And then only positive things are said by everyone involved? I could see a reason for Sarah leaving in that maybe she would think Walseth can't coach, but she was kicked off the team? There's a fire in the new empty Sanford Health Athletic Complex for the WBB games. Could we see another dismissal here soon, this time a coach?
  4. That one that was in a winter storm, where the Jets on way to the TC got jetted over to Duluth and then back home. Game day Jets landed MSP Airport.
  5. I'd add agriculture as having it's challenges in last few years. Lots of Ag stuff in GF (more than people realize) and through out the state for that matter. Every time a load of wheat, potatoes, sugar, corn, beans, livestock and etc. leave the state for sale, I call it, "new $ come back in". This process does a lot of good for our economy. Completely different than recycling of our same old money. Every time we buy an auto, machinery, electronics, clothing, and etc. those dollars spent to bring that product in have left our state, and therefor are not available to recycle so to speak.
  6. Interesting stats from our friends to the S Attendance numbers for NDSU Men's Basketball since moving into the SHAC.2016-17: (13 games) Average home attendance: 3,833. 2017-18: (14 games) Average home attendance: 2,757. 2018-19: (through 9 games) Average home attendance: 2,099.
  7. If they are closed tomorrow morning, I'd say it's going to happen on Friday.
  8. Bison WBB lost Reilly Jacobson and Macey Kvilvang already this season and now they lose Sarah Jacobson. https://www.inforum.com/sports/basketball/977054-Jacobson-no-longer-on-the-Bison-womens-basketball-team
  9. Just filled up there 2 hours ago, it's where I go to get Premium. Been told University Station got what they wanted for the place. They close today, Friday it'll open as Casey's.
  10. Would have to be Bismarck, let then have the tourney one year, go from there.
  11. 6-7 in a row, Ya! 6 in a row puts us in FrozFaceoff. Odds pretty slim to get the run. Winning 5 of 6 could get us to Twin Cities if last two are wins, or 6 of 7 if Denver takes us to three games. Then win one and lose one, and hope. Of coarse winning two there would give us the auto. Lot of variable here yet; how many we win, how many loses do the teams in my last post get?
  12. Please tell me what happened to your AD's accused student-athlete that provided the supplements that Junior was using since mid season and that by BB Mama's claims were also wide spread though out the locker room? A punishment for these actions would of likely leaked out by now? Maybe Larsen tried to divert? Maybe Mama is right, and trusted staff person puts NDSU in a bad situation?
  13. 13th should get us in, maybe even 14th place after the FrozFaceoff. That's 4 more weekends of hockey to get results of Pairwise for the NCAA's. Pairwise Ranking: Cornell 13 16-8-3 Harvard 14 16-8-3 Mass.-Lowell 15 18-10-3 Bowling Green 16 20-8-5 Notre Dame 17 17-12-3 North Dakota 18 15-14-2 Penn State 19 18-12-2 We are currently at 18th. We need to move ahead of 4 or 5 teams. Pretty much have to get to FrozFaceoff to have enough wins to move up and then win one there? Next Weekend 2nd Weekend 3rd&4th Weekends Cornell @ St. Law + @ Clarkson conf tourney - 3 weekends Harvard @ Rensselaer + @ Union conf tourney - 3 weekends MassLowell home&home NewHamp 1@ Vermont tourney 2 weekends Bowling Grn 2home AlamabHunts conf tourney - 3 weekends Penn St 2@ N Dame conf tourney - 3 weekends Nodak 2@ CC 2home Omah tourney 2 weekends
  14. AD passed on the blame to another student-athlete. If true, that is an unacceptable excuse with no further consequences, in all reality still leaves the problem within the FB program? Also keep in mind the statement of spread through out the locker room.
  15. If we can keep winning (and that's what we need to do to move up), those teams below us won't be in our way. It's the 1/2 doz. or so teams just above us that need to lose so as we win we jump them. Pairwise Rankings: Maybe we need 13th to make NCAA's cuz auto bids? Member Duluth + .0001 > Gophs 11 UMass Lowell 48 18-10-2 11 Cornell 48 15-8-3 14 Harvard 46 15-8-3 15 Clarkson 45 20-10-1 16 Bowling Green 44 20-8-4 17 Notre Dame 43 17-11-3 18 Penn State 42 18-11-2 19 North Dakota 40 15-13-2 19 Lake Superior
  16. Those loses hurt, like all usually do. Looking to the positive side, overall we played respectively against good teams. We just need to get into the NCAA's, so we can play with the good teams and show who we really are.

  20. For as big of a game as this was and playing an old time rival, we should of had a full house, plenty of empty seats. Saturdays usually do better, hopefully we have more butts in the seats tonight?
  21. That's a pretty good midnight post, friend - UND is not toast. Give you some morning reading: We were swept twice so far this season, and returned the punishment to two other teams. Here's where our horsepower is at - and it's with Top 6 teams: St. Cloud 1-1 Massachu 0-0 Quinnie 0-0 MN St. 1-1 Duluth 2-1 Denver 1-2-1 Somebody mentioned a little earlier, we're coached to play good teams, agree. Our record playing 4 of the top 6 teams in the country is 5-5-1, that's NCAA playoff material.
