  1. Weather will be a factor regarding attendance. Snowing, wind will increase as evening progresses.
  2. Bison lose basketball player Macey Kvilvang and pick up one of their senior soccer players Hanna Norman to finish the season. How unstable can this DivI WBB get in the state of ND?
  3. I'd think it's not about what the NCAA would say. We'll never get there. The point I'm making is that UND would not allow Indian imagery after all that's happened.
  4. Would definitely agree with that, I blow snow for a couple of hours every time it snows. Since the holidays, this snow is really light and fluffy. I go west to DL occasionally and there is some but not a dangerous amount of snow in the fields. This stuff has been mostly blown in to areas with cover and the towns/cities.
  5. I threw the towel in on the Sioux name/logo during the recent Standing Rock oil pipeline protests. Go Hawks!
  6. I think UND (through the AG office) with that NCAA agreement laid all it's arrows out on the NCAA's desk to keep the Sioux name, if they could get the approval of both Reservations. Soon thereafter, they got ambushed by a Standing Rock arrow. UND gave up it's right to fight back. Now suffering a slow painful logo death, which is still flopping like an almost dead fish. The buffalo laughed, and still are. Probably the worst college nickname fiasco death in history. Therefore, UND will not promote the Sioux imagery again (swallowing embarrassment and political correctness). Now, The Ralph is on a time clock with their agenda till 2030. The NCAA agreement had some Sioux concessions and UND will honor some of that, but time will wear on that too. Sioux will eventually end up in a UND closet in the same box as the Flickertails are in now.
  7. Early, but the snow is starting to accumulate.
  8. UND and area public schools were closed again today 2-4-19. Snow plows out full force this morning. More snow Wednesday.
  9. I cheered for Sandelan also. In non conference games verses NCHC teams, I cheer for the NCHC teams because of the Pairwise. Then I will also cheer for non conference teams that we played or going to play when they play other non conference teams, same MO.
  10. B1G, I try so hard that I even cheer for ties when they play each other.
  11. Wentz speaks up: "I know who I am, first of all. I know how I carry myself. I know I'm not perfect. I know I have flaws," he said during a sit-down with a small group of reporters at the Eagles' practice facility recently. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/eagles-qb-carson-wentz-responds-to-report-calling-him-selfish/ar-BBT9Isb?ocid=spartandhp
  12. Pretty quiet on the Western Front. Toooo many cups of coffee could put these suspicions to sleep.
  13. What would it take for you to believe, an on location, off season February ESPN Game Day Show of The SLIP?
  14. and every pre Super Bowl party in the state.
  15. Bozoville is spot on this NCAA kill. And you know it.
  16. So basically if Junior and BB mamma are right, then NDSU should lie to avoid a lawsuit? Do anything to protect the 7?
  17. Your sadly mistaken, I was just at Bozoville and the top thread was Brock Robbins with 307 posts all within the last few weeks. Another troll downplaying this NCAA violation.
  18. Now we're even hearing about legal beagles and the digesting of the innocence of NDSU statements and actions. Let's not forget the earlier posts about watering down the negatives, the press never holds back, the institution comes first even at the cost of a student athletes reputation/future, protect the trophies at all costs, and on & on attitudes? All these different trolls racing over here taking turns to try and down play this NCAA infraction and suspended-Junior's Momma's acquisitions, what a cover up attempt just here. Really, what about NDSU's responsibility in this ordeal? At this point, is the athletic department in too deep to make a clean disclosure?
  19. Absolutely, can't forget the popular free drink specials for the ladies!
  20. Remember the saying in 1972 and prior "If you can go and die for your country, you should be able to have a beer", Vietnam era. Kinda of made sense to most, until it really happened. In 1973, when Mn dropped the legal drinking age to 18, the biggest local crowds were in EGF. UND crowd became of age overnight by crossing the Red River. EGF built to accommodate, and competition for business was teaching the kids (now adults) a lesson in capitalism - drink specials as eluded to in recent posts, and $1 pitchers, Antique had $.10 beer pours & 2 for 1's specials. Some bars in EGF would get so packed you could barely get out. ND side had even some 3 for 1 specials, lots of 2 for 1's, on and on. ND bars became more aggressive, were getting busted for serving minors, cops would walk in and immediately start checking cards on customers - fine under age customers.
  21. That was a typical Bizon post to down play the severity of these offenses. It will go away, attitude. In fact, most troll posts here are to make little of these NCAA drug infractions by the Bizon. Could the bigger picture within the FB program be more like? The FB program became good at masking this stuff, they test themselves to monitor results and adjust the level of juicing accordingly. Timing is also important. All that the NCAA has done to us in the past is suspend the players caught and the program writes them off as violated team rules and we move on. Has this FB program recently suspended a player for failing there own program's tests, maybe not under this practice? Lots of unanswered questions.
