God, I hope your kidding & forgot the smiley's. I think you may have forgotten the baby boomer brain thrust invented most of the things that moved this country ahead of the rest of the world. We also invented all the toys you guys got to play with as we made this country better & made growing up for you a cushy deal. Granted our liberalism was a rebellion of the WWII gen. but if you had to go through the the racism & bigotry we saw growing up, you would understand why we rebelled to make this a better country to live in. The PC cr@p going on has more to do with the X'ers getting carried away with not wanting to offend anyone, We may have been liberals when we were younger, but now we are probably more conservative than you would believe. God, we have to save this country again by voting some sanity back into government. I believe our current "leader" doesn't belong to the baby boomer gen but is one of tenured college professors you deride. "We" can't believe what has happened in the last few years that catapulted the deficit into the trillions, but we are trying to get the right leadership back in to straighten things out. I think things are already changing. I sure as h*ll don't want my great-great grandkids to have to deal with it. We'll get it fixed before we're gone. Sorry for the political rant Mods, but I couldn't let this slide by.

The trademark of the Sioux teams in the 90's & 00's was to wear down the other team & dominate the 3rd. period. Blaiser was way ahead of everyone else in having his teams in the best condition & able to out hustle every other team. I don't think the Sioux will have that advantage, The skill of the Sioux players is what has to win this series. As much as I hate to say it. Sioux split. Sioux friday, Mavs on Sat.

Just added the sports pak a few weeks ago for $5.00 off for 3 months, You have to talk to real person to get the deal. Not available online or phone menu. Spent 20 minutes talking to get a better deal, but no cigar,. Directv is getting outrageously priced & thought I could get a better deal for being with them for 10+ years. Looked at switching to the Dish or cable, but Sioux hockey games weren't available.

That would have been a lot of boring years for me. Fortunately for him, he didn't have to deal with that fiasco they have at that school. Probably one of the bigger recruiting mistakes they made letting him leave.

I may not be as tech savy as some of the comments here, but my main comment is: Thanks Jim I have had many years of enjoyment from all the work you have done for us "Sioux Fans". All the things that you have done to this forum has made it a pleasure to come to almost every day. I may not post as much as some others here, but I am still here. I enjoy the forum as much now as I did 10 years ago when I first joined. I hope this forum & I are still around when my grandsons play for the Sioux. Thanks again for all your work.

I agree with the Wisco comment. It's like a staged event with the students. Went to the Hawks v Preds game when the Hawks won 2-0. The cheering was non stop from the anthem throughout the game & unbelievably loud. I'm an old guy with loss of half my hearing & I my ears hurt. I can't imagine what it was like for the little kids that were there. Last night when the Hawks got smoked by the Canuckleheads it got pretty quiet. Winning games always help the atmosphere. Go Fighting Sioux!!
