Thanks you all or as I have learned from living in Texas, thank ya'll very much. I am fortunate that a good friend of mine (and another UND graduate) lives in Fayetteville, AR. So we will be staying with him for a few days, and hopefully everything will work out OK.

Well I have lived in the Houston area for about 5 years now, and it looks like I am about to get hit by my first Hurricane. We were here when tropical storm Allison came through, but this appears to be much more serious. If the hurricane continues to strengthen and come our way (which the eye is predicted to be just west of the area I live in) we could see some major damage. The county I live in has a mandatory evacuation starting tonight and six (Wed. at 6PM) So we are going to get ourself the heck out of here and hope we still have a house to come back too.

I would guess he was about 5'10", maybe slightly taller.

He may have been listed as 6'0", but he actually isn't that tall.

Speaking of Golf, anyone on the message board been down to play Bully Pulpit? I was wondering how the course is?

I was meaning that this sort of behavior at an establishment would be considered mild, and not newsworthy in a place like Dallas or Houston.

Especially considering where you live. Dallas and Houston have gentlemens clubs on every other street corner.

Just move to a southern city, the pace is much slower down here (exception being the traffic)

North Dakota's general population are good, hard working, common sense people. Those are all hard to come by where I currently live.

2 picks happened because the QB took 3 steps and was hit trying to get rid of the ball. He should have just taken the sack, but either way it wasn't completely the QB's fault. Some of the credit needs to go to the UND defense and the WSU O Line.

I was not bashing him, I just said I wasn't very impressed with him yesterday. I watched the webcast and he seemed to struggle making quick decisions. Specifically when when it was to stay in the pocket or get out on the edge and possibly run. I didn't say Manke would do better, I think his results while in the game where about the same. Both QB's where not really under pressure the entire game, so numbers should be good.

Like I said, UND couldn't UND still host playoff games as long as the logo and name are not present at the facility or on player uniforms. If that is wrong, please correct me. If I am correct, covering up for a playoff football game wouldn't be a be deal.

Why would you have to? For Football playoffs, covering up the name and logo wouldn't be that big of a deal. Hockey is a much bigger problem, but it only effects the NCAA playoffs so UND would not get a bid for another regional for the frozen four, but could in theory still host the frozen five. It is possible, but very unlikely that the NCAA would give UND a bid for a regional beyond the current contract anyway. I could be wrong, but I don't think the NCAA is exactly in love with Grand Forks and it's ability to bring in, and have space for a bunch of people. I don't doubt the city will do a good job, but I think the NCAA liked bigger cities to host such events.

The bad thing about the penalties is that they have helped WSU sustain drives. That keeps the defense on the field longer and can effect play. It doesn't matter today, but it would be a problem in a closer game.

The defense has been very good, but all these 2nd half penalties are a concern.

Brady's gains haven't been big, but I like how he runs the ball.

I really wish UND would have had a little tougher game before heading into the conference games. I am not saying the teams they are playing aren't good, but none of the games have been close. I would like to see the team respond to a little pressure before they get put in that situation against a conference opponent. I guess there is a chance Western Washington will give UND a game.

I think thats a product of the pressure or lack of it.

UND isn't getting the pressure that they were earlier in the game That might have something to do with trying to contain the QB, because this guy looks a little quicker.
