I will not forget it because it was BS, and I am certain I am not the only one. I was stating it is a tainted win from my perspective, I wouldn't feel good about it if I was on team that won a big game in large part due to completely one sided, and horrible officiating.
-
Even though Seattle didn't play great, they still outplayed the Steelers. If it were not for the many horrible calls the Seahawks likely win the game. If I was a Steeler fan, I would be a little upset about the game because the officiating taints the win severely.
-
You are clueless, Hasselbeck didn't even hit the blocker but did tackle the ball carrier. The DB started the contact, it was light and shouldn't have been called either way and the TD should have stood. The BS holding call on the play to the 1 yard line wasn't even close to being a penalty. The official on the field blew the Rothlisberger TD call, which replay couldn't overturn.
-
I wouldn't be concerned about Minot, they always choke in the State Tourney. Maybe they will be better this year with the new coach? It certainly can't hurt.
-
I am a Seahawks fan and almost stopped watching the game. Even if it wasn't a fixed game, those officials should never work again. Pro, College, High School or Junior High. Seattle always seems to have trouble with the officials, remember a few years ago when they gave Vinny Testaverde a TD on the goaline when he didn't even get close to it. It happened with about 30 seconds left, Jets won by 3 and the Seahawks were knocked out of the playoffs. Phil Luckett was the official, he had a few more bad calls early the next season and I think got demoted.

UND may have asked them to walk on, which means they didn't want those guys that badly or not as much as the wanted some other players.
-
Kuper is in Denver getting ready for the combine and I think Digger is working out in Minneapolis.
-
Thanks for the news, and I wish him the best.
-
The 2nd or 3rd round thing is possible, but highly unlikely. I would guess he will get drafted somewhere on the second day.
-
This is not Cactus bowl related but Chris Kuper played in the East/West Shrine game yesterday. I watched the first half, and he played the entire 2nd quarter and looked pretty good.
-
This isn't true, and believe me UND doesn't want to start doing a bunch of recruiting from JUCO's. It's bad for the program, but a player here ard there is OK.

I hate to break it to you but you are wrong. ESPNU and CSTV show a lot of college hockey games throughout the course of the year, along with the games that are on multiple regional FSN channels. 1AA football gets it's playoff games on TV, but D2 had a game on as well the last three weeks of playoffs. If I want to watch a college hockey game on TV, I can do it almost every Friday and Saturday during the season. When the post season comes around, I will be able to watch the frozen 5 and frozen 4 tournaments for college hockey on the tube. Does CSTV have a 1AA game of the week?
-
Man, you're in the wrong place to be saying that. Not to mention the statement is BS, considering way more people care about D1 hockey than they care about 1AA football.
-
This is a pretty good list of current players. http://www.d2football.com/index.php?fuseaction=home.alumni

Wasn't Marshall 1A when Moss was there? It's funny that Gado was a backup in college but ends up doing pretty well for himself in the NFL, but I don't think he is going to be an impact player considering his opportunity was due to a bunch of injuries and his fumbling problems.
-
UMD also struggled on offense some early in the season and Texas State only beat Delta State by 10 or 14 points and Delta didn't even make the D2 playoffs. One game comparisons don't really tell the entire story. It's obvious that 1AA is a higher level of football, but it is a pretty minor jump that mainly involves the depth of the team at each postition.

The West team destroyed the East behind a great performance by Wesley Beschorner. Digger had a good game stats wise, I think he ended up with 10 tackles (one of them was a TFL) and 2 forced fumbles. Glas did miss his only field goal attempt, but I don't think that would hurt as far as getting a shot next year. http://www.javelinaathletics.com/football/2005/010606fb.html

That sounds something like the QB that verbaled and decommitted to Nebraska to go to KState this year. I was driving home from ND after the holiday and heard an Omaha radio guy just ripping this kid to shreds for backing out at Nebraska. When the kid was recruited and before he verballed he was told that he would have the opportunity to compete for the starting QB job as a true freshman. After he verballed, that changed and was basically told he was going to be redshirted. I guess if playing time was important, and I felt lied to, I would decommit as well. The only thing that the kid did very wrong IMO, is that he told Bill Callahan with a text message saying "I'm not coming". That is very poor, but again he is just a high school kid and obviously has a lot to still learn. I just felt it was horrible the way the radio show host and fans calling in bashed and ripped the kid, I would think most fans of the program would be embarassed by that behavior. Adults should probably show more maturity than a 17 year old.

Doesn't NDSU also have more engineering programs? For example I had a friend go to NDSU to get a degree in construction engineering, which is or was not offered at UND.
-
I don't really agree with you. NDSU might be more inclined to offer a local kid money over an out of state player of similar ability, but they are not going to give money to a kid that they think doesn't have the ability to play at that level. UND may have watched film and not been impressed, or felt he didn't fit anywhere in the system, or offered the limited money to another recruit they liked better. Recruiting and talent evaluation is not an exact science and many people differ in opinions on many players.
-
My roomate in college was from the cities and came to UND for mech. engineering based on advice from a friends father who was a higher up in an engineering company. So, I guess UND can't be all that far below NDSU and there mech. engineering program. It really isn't where you get your education, it's whether you actually learn the material or not.
-
Thats really shocking, considering the extreme left has taking over the majority of college campuses across the country. I don't think it matters what the program is, the professors who never had a real job in their life seem to have made this a cause to fit in between teaching 3 hours a week and coffee breaks.

The problem is that it is not supposed to be about what you look like (Skin Tone, Hairstyle, Gender, or any other physical charecteristic). It should be about the quality of work a person does, no matter what the persons ethnic background. In the process of the US government trying to push some people forward, we end up dragging others down. It's the same thing that goes on with the "No child left behind" B.S. Itstead of pushing people to be better and excel, we provide lower standards which lower the credibility of the entire system.
-
I know there were at least 6 engineering majors on the football team when I was there.

If you can't read it anyway, why the hell is grammar important?
