Everyone has a different opinion about talent and who the better players is and coach Lennon has always seemed to put the best players on the field. In this case, I am not so sure he has. Because the 2 QB's are so similar I do wonder why Manke has never really been given an appropriate amount of game time to win the job. Belmore has had a good year, but this was a horrible game for him. I don't care who the QB is, if they are playing poorly and making foolish mistakes they need to be taken out of the game. Any other position on the field making those type of mistakes would not have been left in the game. I understand QB confidence is a big deal, but Belmore appears to have lost it and the team needs to come first. I remember when I was at UND, it wasn't always the most talented or hardest working guys that got on the field. I think that has been fixed with coach Lennon, but IMO he needs to give Manke a crack at earning the starting QB job.

Belmore had 3 picks, from the description the radio guys gave one of them was in grossman hands and got pulled away. He also had 3 fumbles, one on QB center exchange, another trying hand the ball off, and the last fumble gave UNO the ball in great field position to score and take the lead. I don't know what is wrong, but he needs to get is confidence back for next week.

I didn't see it but it sounds like Rutgers shouldn't have been penalized. Last I heard, spontanious team celebrations were OK.

It's funny how seems to come up every year with the Mankato Indians. Jamrog better learn to recruit more high school kids or he is never going to get the program turned around. It just isn't likely that they can become a consistant success with a lot of the scholarship money going to JUCO players.

True, I wonder how much of it is the UND offense and how much is the Screaming Eagle I mean Mav. defense?

I wouldn't touch this topic in a class at UND unless you really feel the Prof. is fair and will grade on your work instead of possibly having a different opinion than his or hers. Had a bad experience with this in composition class at UND.

I think this might be one of those trap games. coming off a very high emotional game with UMD and possibly having one eye down the road at UNO and USD. I think Mankato will put up a fight early and if UND can't get through that and squash their hopes, UND will win big. If they let them stay close, I think the Sioux might find themselves in a dogfight on the road this week.

I have never seen this at UND, has anyone else? I have seen body paint, but just green letters and things like that, nothing mocking an american indian.

It really depends on what you are looking for. I had a lot of fun in high school bow hunting the lake darling refuge, but I think parts of Salyer are actually better.

Comparing this situation to slavery is well.... pretty much just crazy!!!!

If this is the case, why does our the US government have programs which finacially help native americans living on the reservation? If they are really sovereign, why does the US governement help them out?
