  1. Again, you really don't make much sense. You can't say that comparing D2 to I-AA and I-AA to I-A is even close. I mean, c'mon man, your not USC. Lets compare: A top 10 I-A team versus a top 10 I-AA team. This is likely to be a slaughtering, Montana got whooped up on by Iowa last week 41-7. If UNI played a USC or a Texas, easily a 40 point differential. Now lets compare a top 10 D2 versus a top 10 I-AA. This is copied from d2football.com "Bloomsburg and Tarleton State both lost their games last week, but they certainly gained the respect of the college football world. BU led the 8th-ranked team in I-AA, James Madison, 3-0 midway through the fourth quarter before finally succumbing, 14-3. Even more remarkable is that the Huskies nearly pulled off the upset despite all-everything running back Jamar Brittingham being out of the lineup with an injury. Tarleton State also pushed defending I-AA semifinalist Texas State to the limit, going toe to toe with the Bobcats for four quarters before losing 27-23." ENOUGH SAID!!! I think the gap between D2 and I-AA is minimal, at best, if you ask me. What do you think Flapp?? I mean, Bloomsburg(#11 ranked D2 team) and Tarleton State(NOT EVEN RANKED IN TOP 25 IN D2!!) are usually top 25 D2 teams, but I don't think they have gone further than the 2nd round of the playoffs in recent years. Weird, huh? NDSU(D2 at the time) beat Montana(D-IAA and I believe they were the defending I-AA national champs at the the time) in 2003 and I don't think NDSU even made the D2 playoffs that year!! UND did. I just don't see this huge difference in game speed and so forth that you are talking about. I think that most UND fans would agee that UND will be and could easily be a top 25 D-IAA team. You keep making your comparisons, but really all you are doing is talking out of your a** and have nothing to back it up with. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUXXXXXXXXX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. So, what r u saying? UNI is faster at every position compared to UND? I didn't realize UND was playing the frickin Chicago Bears. Speed=Power, Power=Explosiveness......blahblah blah.....what a buch of crap. Where do smarts come into play? "Speed kills, don't forget that" , I'm sure you probably had that printed on the back of your high school football practice tees. I am pretty sure there are plenty of college and professional athletes that are the best at their positions, but aren't the fastest. U have to be a moron to think that being fast is a justification to being a good football player, or team for that matter. You're an idiot.
  3. Way too fast, huh. If UND loses a game it is not because another team is "simply too fast." We have played many teams in the past 5 years that people thought had the advantage because of their speed. ie: NDSU (they always had the fastest secondary in the country. and if I remember right, Lamar Gordon had so much speed that he never scored a touchdown against UND. UNC, and even UNA in 2003 was so fast that they got whooped by UND in the playoffs. Being too fast is not proof positive that UND will lose by 30. I played in the system, I guarantee that the coaching staff and the players are going down to UNI to WIN, not lose by 30 and say that it is a moral victory because the other team was faster and a I-AA team. I for one will not count out UND until the end. Lennon will have the boys ready!! GOOOOOOOOOO SIOOOOOOOOOOOUXXXXXXXXX!!!!!!!!!!
  4. I went to the Broncos vs Cardinals pre-season game last week. I got to see both Kuper and Mustard play. Both of them started and played most of the game as the starters for the broncos took the game off. I thought they both played very well. Granted when you watch one or two guys the whole game, it is easy to see they may have made a few mistakes, but overall I thought Kupe did an excellent job with his pass protection. His run blocking was also good, the only mistake I really saw out of Kupe was a missed block on a screen pass. But then again, he played the entire game and that was the ONLY play I noticed that he missed. Mustard also blocked well but didn't get any passes thrown to him. It was great to see old college teammates playing in the NFL. I got a chance to talk to them after the game. I wish them both the best of luck, they are both great athletes and great guys.
  5. PatSweeny--Why are you so jealous?? It takes a big man to talk trash about someone on a message board. Congratulations for being a loser!!! hahaha
  6. Bigmrg74 - nice pic, you ever raise the roof on the GVSU sidelines??
  7. I don't even understand how playing the rest of your season can even be fun when you know that the rest of your games have no implications, and your team doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell of making the play-offs. Even if you win out, who cares?? I'd expect this game won't even be close.
  8. I'm sure there have been some unofficial visits, but I am not sure who the big recruits are this season. Anyone else know??
  9. Hopefully UND keeps up the intensity and doesn't have a lull when they travel to Mankato. I think UND takes it 42-14.
  10. I wish that I was able to get some tickets
  11. I definately think they have a great chance of going unbeaten. That would be awesome!!
