Enrollment cratered and they are cutting hockey. I jest but my money is on them being the first D1 hockey school to shutter.

What a disaster of a tender by Tri City.

We might have the Clark Cup captain in a suit next to him. Practice is going to be intense.
-
It is good for the state's hockey community to give the Bobcats the ability to market a player made it to UND. We've been missing on Western ND kids too.

Google's algorithms are getting too good for my liking. They knew I'd want to see this:

Other than Wyatt Cullen, who from Moorhead is going to be an impact player at the NCAA level? People on here were cold on Kraft (a la Zach Yon, Garrett Worth, etc.). The NTDPers? https://www.startribune.com/moorhead-high-school-hockey-ncaa-chl-ushl-jon-ammerman/601451836

There will be a lot of competition for the 5 and 6 spots. We are in good shape to absorb an injury on D. Goalie is unknown, but with that D corp much less of a concern. Victoria ∆ GF ∆ NHL pipeline begins now -
Curious how long they were talking with him. Sounds like someone we can slot into a shutdown line and PK for years to come. Keep the Canadians coming! #VictoriaSioux

Kid is on Pacific standard time or may not want to share it himself, Brad is on vacation, etc. The hope for me was it could be a dual signal with Bueker or someone else, but that doesn't seem likely now.
-
A at 17, C at 18. Exactly the kind of kid we want. If it's this year, it gives Strinden one last chance to prove he's top 6 at this level.
-
Good catch. Per EP: " Josephson is a shutdown centre who outworks the opponents he can’t outsmart. He charges back into the play, overwhelming the puck carrier with an endless barrage of lifts, swipes, grabs, and hits. His feet never stop moving, allowing him to skate through the hands and win the positioning battle "

McMahon's newsletter has info on McQueen's package and maybe some details on Spicer if anyone gets it. I should probably just subscribe, he's gotten away from his Merrimack and HE focus.

https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/schlossman-does-college-hockeys-recruiting-window-need-some-tweaks 40% of 8/1 commits never ending up where they announced is crazy. The infamous local 3 plus Singleton were the rush commits UND had prior to the new rule.

My recollection is Ford was very responsible in our end and won key draws, but I may be confusing him with Michaud (the gold standard for transfers).
-
Ford and Driscoll were definitely net positives.

Peters only projects Emery to make the team for WJC. Zellers hopefully plays his way in as a local kid. https://www.flohockey.tv/articles/14449430-team-usa-projected-roster-for-world-juniors-2026-after-summer-showcase -

If a goalie turns down a contract to come back and make a run a la Augustine he deserves consideration. Rare but not unheard of.
