Wouldn't be a surprise to see one or two more go W. All things equal, WHL locations > USHL locations (for the most part).

ASU, OSU, Maine, QU listed of the 12 (!) offers he received. Have to assume if MN, WI, ND, UM and MSU were among them they'd be mentioned.

Looking at Michigan's roster, they have 3 blue chips penciled in for top 6 (Hage, Horcoff, Valentini). Schifsky and Hughes are proven ~point per game scorers in college. Perron will need to beat out Spence and McKinney (among others) for a top 6 spot. Grass is not always greener exhibit for years to come. EDIT: Hage, Horcoff, Schifsky and McKinney are all centers, so not likely all are top 6. Still not a lot of Top 6 and PP time available for him.

Big Ten is a better fit for finesse in lieu of grit. Third line probably won't get shutdown matchups. Michigan clearly recruited him while he was here, he was projected to them on this forum in like January.

Misa/Roobroeck didn't pan out so they are bringing him in early. Sucks to be Perron!

What's the word on Zaide Penner from Fargo?

Fat Pat joining St Clair in Muskegon. Only a matter of time until CSC is back as an assistant or HC in the NCAA.
-
Some prospects like DuPont and Preston and then Verhoeff (#3) involved in a lot. Announcers call him out on some mistakes but he also shows some poise.

We will have a draft pick portal out annually, just how college athletics works now. Can't have this much talent and keep it. Preferably it's someone who was underperforming like Costantini, Johnson or Emerson. I have a hunch who it will be but hope he proves me wrong. EDIT: we also need to keep a slot for someone who has proven themselves at the college level who grew up a fan a la Johannes and Menghini. Players who will relish every moment on the ice, never taking a shift for granted.

Enrollment cratered and they are cutting hockey. I jest but my money is on them being the first D1 hockey school to shutter.

We might have the Clark Cup captain in a suit next to him. Practice is going to be intense.

It is good for the state's hockey community to give the Bobcats the ability to market a player made it to UND. We've been missing on Western ND kids too.

Other than Wyatt Cullen, who from Moorhead is going to be an impact player at the NCAA level? People on here were cold on Kraft (a la Zach Yon, Garrett Worth, etc.). The NTDPers? https://www.startribune.com/moorhead-high-school-hockey-ncaa-chl-ushl-jon-ammerman/601451836

There will be a lot of competition for the 5 and 6 spots. We are in good shape to absorb an injury on D. Goalie is unknown, but with that D corp much less of a concern. Victoria ∆ GF ∆ NHL pipeline begins now -
Curious how long they were talking with him. Sounds like someone we can slot into a shutdown line and PK for years to come. Keep the Canadians coming! #VictoriaSioux
