Happy for Alex, he's good at what he does and it was clear he was destined to level up. My wife loves Jake's accent (and Hennessey's too, she's not a midwestern gal), and I appreciate his willingness to call a spade a spade. Really knowledgeable too; extemporaneous speaking isn't his strength, but I enjoyed him.

Good for him to make it work without a messy breakup like Spicer, whose quote was "I gotta do what's best for me" (paraphrasing). Hopefully he gets cheered when introduced as a visiting player.

Ausmus plateaued, Spicer has all of 15 career points through his sophomore season, and Panzer had "another Zach Yon" written all over him (stud in HS, passed in NHL draft, never made an impact in USHL).

Is the fighting sioux Facebook group still full of sycophants towards a player's mother? Felt sorry for her that she pursued adulation in a manner so embarassing for her son. With no account of my own my knowledge of it stemmed from here, which could have been exaggerated.

Sandelin has had players making the dirtiest plays and most embarrassing flops in the entire sport. I've also never watched a UMD game where it was clear he out-coached the opponent. Until the former ends and the latter takes place, I remain unimpressed.

Upon further inspection it was the UNH Lowell score I thought was Maine getting pounded. But the point still stands.

May have already been mentioned, but Berg cited lack of PP time for why he entered the portal, so that must have felt good.

Maine is limping into the tournament and will be a good first round opponent for a lucky team.
